First time guests. Classic rock environment. Lots of neat instruments hanging up all over. Plenty of tvs to watch. Can't... complain about pricing. It's costly to eat out everywhere. We got lunch to-go by calling in our order and picking it up curbside which was super easy! I had the Above The Rim Etouffée... which was fairly spicy but very good! Mom had the Fish and Chips which were also great with very good tarter sauce! Pricesseemed decent and service was very friendly! We stopped at THE RIM Scratch Craft Eats to pick up our grandkids. The chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes were amazing (three... of the guys had this), catfish super fresh and green beans were like home. We also had chips (homemade) and queso that wereexceptional! We came here about a year ago. We came back today and it has gone downhill. The manager saw us standing at the hostess station... and she just walked way from us. It?s not even busy, only 4 tables. The waitress is very friendly and nice. But I don?t knowwhat is going on with the food. The chicken dish I got side grilled chicken, pepper jack cheese and avocado pico. The chickenwas so overcooked and dried out I could barely cut it or eat it. I couldn?t believe that the cheese was just a slice of sandwichcheese not even melted. I thought at a place like this it would be more then a slice of sandwich cheese on top. That?s what theydo at Denny?s. Never got my avocado pico. We also order two appetizers. one came out before our meal and the other one which wasthe wings didn?t even come out until we were almost done eating a meal. This was such a refreshing reset to the day. We started at Ol Southern Pancake House and it was an awful experience. We walked... into the Rim and sat at the bar and Kenny just turned the day around. He was so friendly, gave us great drink recommendationsand just made some amazing cocktails! The food was delicious and the drinks were good! I?m sad we didn?t start brunch here butso glad we ended here. The environment is so calm and welcoming. The manager Anthony was very nice as well he came and gave ussome food recommendations and suggested popular menu items. This was such a great experience!
