DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE FOR ANY REASON: Gardens Restaurant owns The Oaks Event Center. We had our wedding at The Oaks Event... Center in Burleson, Texas 11/13/2021. We had many issues with the venue. Rebecca is very rude and unprofessional. She was rudeto my guests and my wedding party. Furthermore, we paid to have a private bartender for 5 hours at the wedding and we did notreceive one until the last hour and a half of the reception. Rebecca instructed me that my wedding guests were to use the mainbar in the common area, which would have been okay except for the fact that she booked another party that started at the sametime my wedding did. There were so many people in the common area that we had to walk around people to be able to walk downthe aisle, and she had overhead music playing for the other party that was so loud we couldn't hear our music to know when tostart walking. I was at no time told that there was any possibility that another party would be going on and, in fact, when webooked with The Oaks, Rebecca told us there would be no other party going on during our wedding. We had to share our day with abunch of strangers because we were forced to use the common area bar and had no privacy. Further, the colors of the flowers inthe centerpieces that I paid to rent and the arch that I paid to rent were wrong (the colors were clearly stated on theinvoices/contract). The arch was not centered by the fireplace and neither was the aisle runner. The entire patio was throwntogether very sloppily. The wedding party table was supposed to be long enough to fit eight people, but only six would fit sothe other two members had to move their chairs to the sides of the table so we could all sit at the table while eating (averagesize people). The bridal suite stank badly the entire night, and got worse as the night went on. We believe there may be asewage problem due to the smell. Rebecca tried to say that the smell was because she turned on the heat in the even Read more

Had this venue booked for a bridal shower next month. We had to cancel due to the difficulty and lack of communication between... the event planners and us. On top of that, the tasting went horribly and no one was clear on what we could/should be pickingout. The waitresses knew nothing about the food and the event planner that was there that day was NO help whatsoever. It isreally a shame since the venue is gorgeous and people had said such great things about this place. Definitely will never use forfuture events. Read more

The food was pretty good and fresh. We got the Mediterranean chicken wrap sandwich and it was good. The fries could have been... better. We got the grilled cheese sandwhich for our son and that was not very high quality, but they were extremely busy the daywe ate there. Read more

We booked our daughter?s wedding reception at The Gardens Restaurant with Amy. Everything, and I truly mean everything, was... perfect! Amy is so easy to work with....professional, knowledgeable, thorough and friendly. We enjoyed a complementary foodtasting a week or so before the reception of the items we wanted to order. Thank you to the chef!! The location, in and ofitself, is gorgeous! The food was delicious and we received many compliments throughout the event. The bartender & staff werewonderful! They delivered on everything they promised to do! It was the perfect staff at a beautiful venue! Thank you to Amyand all of the employees at The Gardens Restaurant for helping make our daughter?s wedding day so memorable! Read more

We recently had a large group luncheon at the Gardens and reserved a room. The murals were stunning, almost perfectly reflecting... the Botanical Gardens themselves. The food was good, and portions were generous. Not sure whether the serving arrangements werebetter when they had a buffet or the current table service, but it obviously takes longer to be served than to be able to go toa buffet line. That would be the only thing to be aware of with a large group. Prices were reasonable, in line with most otherrestaurants but this setting tops the others. If you have a smaller group and nice weather you can sit outside on the deck! Read more

Went for lunch on Sunday. We weren't aware that the "all you can eat brunch" for $17.95 a person was the only option on a... Sunday. The food was good, although a few things were worse for sitting on the buffet rather than being fresh. Rolls were rockhard and incredibly dry, and the scrambled eggs were dry and gummy on top and literally sitting in a puddle of liquid on bottom. My companion had the chicken and rice, and enjoyed both. The salad and fruit bar was excellent. I'll be back next time I'm intown to try it on another day of the week. Read more

Very poor experience. I wish there was a minus star. Took over 20 minutes to get someone to take our order. Before we gave... our order they told us they would be right out with our food. (that we did not order yet) Took 45 minutes to get our food. Weboth had the Teriyaki Salmon. It was a disaster. The salmon was way overcooked and very fishy tasting. I could not get mostof my meat to release from the skin. Yes they served it with the skin on. I left half of my salmon on the plate. It camewith cheese grits........there was no cheese just plain no taste. The grits had obviously been made ahead of time and reheatedbecause they were lumpy. Oh did I mention the grits were ice cold. The best thing on the plate was the lemon wedge and theslice of bread. We told the waitress how bad it was. She went to tell the manager and the manager asked her if we ate the foodor not. Dear Manager, Whether we ate or not is not a good indication of if the food was good or not. I ate as much as I couldbecause I was on my lunch break and would not be able to eat anything else. There were many other things I could point out butI will stop here. Very bad experience. I can not recommend this place at all. The manager didn't even come out to speak to us or offer any kind of discount on our bad experience. Read more
