Update 4/12/2022: Maven reached out to me a day or two after the botched pickup and not only apologized, but gave me a decent... amount of store credit to use for another purchase, which I took them up on. Adding a star for good customer service andcommunication. Also, in case better detail is helpful, the containers are generally polypropylene plastic containers that sealpretty well or zip-seal plastic bags. One complaint about their procedures: they do not label their containers to make it clearwhat's gluten-free, dairy-free, etc, unlike the way they do it on their website. Frustrating if you're ordering for agluten-free housemate in addition to yourself. This needs to be changed. ---------------------------------- Original 3 starreview: Maven Meals doesn't deliver to my zip code, though I'm only located 30 minutes away from their facility. When I went topick my meal order up, they brought only half of it out to me, which I didn't discover until I got home. This necessitatedanother trip to their facility; no compensation (coupon/discount or otherwise) was offered for the mistake that cost an extrahour of time and fuel. I am embarassed by how much I love this company. My spouse and I both work very demanding jobs and struggle to muster up the... energy at the end of the day to cook. Our diets had become increasingly dependant on takeout, and I was feeling really guiltyabout not providing my family with healthy, home-cooked meals. Then I discovered Maven Meals. I'm obsessed. We have ordered forthe past two weeks and plan to continue. The food is fresh, VERY tasty, healthy, and considerably cheaper than takeout or other"meal kit" delivery services. We eat mostly vegetarian and I love that the veggie options don't depend on "impossible" meats ortofu "steaks". The comfort of knowing that we have prepared meals available is helping me to fall in love with cooking again.Highly, highly reccomend! Read more

Original review - I... ordered a whole eggnog cheesecake for Christmas dessert and it's not worth serving. When I opened the box it was obviouslyovercooked as the edges were brown, the middle of the cheesecake had sunk, and you could see visible chunks from the batter notbeing well mixed. Tried a bit just to see and indeed it wasn't creamy and smooth like a cheesecake should be. The flavor wasgood though, which is the only reason it's not 1 star. Read more
I tried their sweet chilli pulled pork, coconut mango rice, seared tuna salad, spiced walnuts avocado and 2 different cookies.... All of them were so delicious and the total cost was only $25. I highly recommend Maven Meals. Read more
We buy one or more Maven meals a week and decided to purchase our entire Thanksgiving dinner from there, also. The food was not... only amazing, it was much more plentiful than I am used to. The Cornish game hens were perfectly roasted and huge--like havingour own individual small turkeys. The mushroom gravy was so good, as were the garlic mashed potatoes, maple-glazed carrots,sweet potato casserole with crumbled topping, dressing, and pear upside down cake. And it's Saturday and we're still eatingleftovers! We'll do this again next year. Read more
