2 years later and still the BEST!!! Y'all stop in and make your mouth happy!! As a food professional I tend to be excessively... critical. Your mouth will be happy and your tummy full!!!! Not only do they shred their own MOZZ but their bread is crispyfresh!!!! EXCELLENT sauce(gravy), not bitter but just right. Pies, sandwiches, stromboli just like you would find in the"North". Us Southerners do fried chicken well, pizza is not our thing! To add to this the establishment is SPOTLESS! There areproperly trained and certified personnel on hand to guarantee a safe food serve. We met the owner Jay and the manger Judy thisevening and it was our pleasure! Very friendly staff. Constant business at the counter and deliveries flying out the door. Theydon't miss a beat. We were on our way home from Carolina Beach and wanted some coffee so we grabbed that first which happened to be directly next... door. We also hadn't had anything to eat yet so we decided to grab two slices and I'm sooo glad we did. This place seems to have mastered pizza. You know how you can usually get two slices from the display pies and a drink as a... special? Well this place does that ($6, as of 8/2022) and somehow despite the fact that they're reheating the pizza it's stellaranyway. And I had thin crust; I'm usually a deep dish kinda guy, but that's what they had, and the crust is notably super crispyand adds to the experience. I'll ask for thin crust next time. One of these days I'm going back and I'm gonna order a freshpie. If it's this good two slices at a time a fresh one has to be bananas good. We just moved to Burgaw, and we were so excited to see there was a pizza place in town! We've been a few times now, and haven't... been disappointed! The pizza is really great. I grew up eating NJ and NYC pizza, then traveled and lived all over the country. Idon't know if you've had pizza in mid America, but its not that good! So I'm happy we have this wonderful pizza place so closeby! The staff is always so so kind and friendly. Read more
Scott, Morgan, and the whole Fat Daddy?s crew are out of this world! The pizza is absolutely the best. I won?t eat pizza from... anywhere else anymore. I probably go 3 times a week. The 11am-1pm 2slices of pizza and a drink for 6$ is killer, you can?t beatit. The crust and dough is out of this world. First timer here at Fat Daddy's! Took advantage of the daily special which is 2 slices of pizza and a drink for $6. Came in at... noon-ish on a Friday and had zero wait! There are a couple of tables outside if you prefer. Pizza was crispy and thin - lovedit! Read more

I wish I would have visited sooner my wife and I moved to rocky Point from Wilmington about a year ago and did some exploring... this Saturday in Burgaw walked in after we smelled the pizza and all I can say is this place is the best pizza in the Wilmingtonand greater area period . Very tasty and fresh we had pizza , the knots , and the meatball parm All great fresh food. Only thingis if you plan to eat there call ahead seating area is small but no real issue .
