We really liked this brewery for a number of reasons but mostly the staff, the view, and of course the beer! All the staff were... very friendly and helpful, the building and grounds are nicely set up, the view is great, and dogs are allowed. We had a flightand liked all of them, probably the brown the best. Great selection of merchandise as well! Read more
This place was a home run for us! The Brews were pretty amazing! I had a big fan of sours but found the first one that I really... liked. The food was very tasty and I never had one before, but highly recommend the bomber pizza. Friendly staff, and awesomeview of the lake. Lots of seating inside and out. Came with friends on a nice day just to stop in and ended up staying for hours! We enjoyed sitting on the patio, and were happy... they were covered to get some shade. We had lunch - Mac & cheese, pork nachos, and a pretzel - and it was all incredible!!! Thenachos were such a great plate to share and their beer cheese is out of this world. The beers are also amazing, much better thanat some other breweries in the area, and everyone in our party loved sharing some flights. We all absolutely loved the Juicy WayIPA too! Wow, I was super impressed with this place. We had 13 of us with a couple of teenagers looking for someplace to eat. The adults... were of course happy to go to a brewery, we weren't sure about the teenagers being allowed in. Very fun family type atmosphereand we sat and enjoyed the ambience and the camaraderie with other guests. Then we ordered food- that really took this to awhole another level. Everything we ordered was great. Pub food, to be sure, but everything was really great and delicious. Thebeer selection was outstanding. We tried probably almost every beer available amongst the 10 people imbibing and everyone lovedeach selection. Fun! Place to stop and enjoy a couple of great craft beers with some great pub food! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was top notch, can't recommend the meatballs with mushroom gravy enough!!... This is a seasonal item and will be leaving the menu soon. The beer was tasty and they had a varied selection. To die forviews. Read more
My husband and I stayed in the lodge for our 5 year anniversary and you did not disappoint!! From the moment we checked in, to... the moment we left, we had the most amazing time. Everything was layed out so perfectly, and you truly thought of everything. The beers were outstanding, the food was delicious, the live music was amazing, and the views were incredible. We went for the October Grist Iron Brewery Pumpkin Drop and Fall Festival. Plenty of food, fun, and parking. They even provided... shuttle service to the event for handicap people parked far up on the hill. They had so much to offer but with so many peoplethe food trucks ran out of food and they sold out of the commemorative beer mugs for the festival. All in all it was a greatfree admission event with plenty to see, hear (live music), and taste! Read more
