Waitress came to table, brought first round of drinks, then never came back. I went to bar to place another order and bartender,... Josh I believe, got upset questioning me about where my waitress was...I said I did not care and just wanted to order. He got ina huff, slammed beers on bar and walked away.... I can now see why we were the only people over 21 in the bar... I guess wrongtime to stop in???? Read more
1st time visitor - Stopped in in a Wednesday night for dinner. Big screen had the Cubs-Chisox game on. Bar was crowded, the food... smelled great. Sat myself and was quickly greeted by a very efficient, friendly waitress. She brought drinks quickly and Idecided on the 3-meat BBQ sampler plate. Wow! Really good! Had a need for a small funeral luncheon, and didn't want the usual beef, chicken, mostaccioli. Decided to have it at Chuck's.... Everyone enjoyed the Economy Package of smoked chicken, pulled pork, mac/cheese and cole slaw. I DID forget to tell them Iwanted to choose soup rather than salad. And Chuck's soups are the absolute BEST. The girl in charge of arranging the funerallunches, Maria, is a little meek and quiet. When people are doing funeral duties they are not thinking as clearly as theynormally would. I wish she would have asked me if I wanted soup or salad. No big deal, I'm sure that if you express yourselfbetter than I did you will be completely satisfied. Maria and Chuck's still are 5????. Read more
