The food was delicious, my grievance is the special is on an electronic board that flashes. As if you want me to watch your... slide show to see. Since my grievance won?t slow down your slideshow to ACTUALLY read- your register should verbally offer thespecial. Your register should also state - would you like brown rice for an additional charge - instead of adding a charge withno explanation and no where on yr menu did it say up charge. Read more

Sansai is a deceptively good spot for lunch or a light dinner. Located in the rear (right) of a fast-food strip mall next to the... east entrance to BUR airport , they serve japanese style plates, soups and salads. The prices are low-medium range, lunch willset you back $15 to $20. An unusual feature of this resteraunt is the use of large touch screens to "take" your order, kindalike Mcdonald's. There seems to be plenty of staff waiting behind the counter to hand out orders, I don't see the point of thehalfway self-service, but it works well enough. I had the chicken bowl lunch special, which comes with teriyaki chicken, rice (I chose brown rice), choice of salad (I picked... the kale salad), and either the potstickers or California roll (I got the potstickers). Sansai as a franchise is great, this location is sneaky and so loses stars. They charge a 4% fee if you do not pay cash. No one... carries cash anymore. The real problem is that they do not tell you, if they had a sign it would be different. Effectively itfeels like I am paying 14+ tax on my meal. See receipt. Read more

First time customer, the layout here is quite nice open, the menu goes on and on. Huge selection, choices for both vegan and... meat eaters. I had a lunch cury bowl that comes with a salad, it was very filling. The plates have two salads, you won't leavehungry that's for sure. Clean wash rooms and the parking here is free. It's about 3min back to airport if you miss the light. Read more

I had never had Sansai before and after hearing so many people rant about how I was missing out, I finally decided to give it a... try. My overall experience was awesome! I walked in a bit nervous because I was very hungry and I had absolutely no idea what toorder. Luckily, I was helped by Janette. She was very sweet and patient and helped me pick a meal based on the feedback I wouldgive her. The place was very clean and neat.
