I've gone here a handful of times and have been underwhelmed. Everything has been cooked fine but everything lacks seasoning.... It's basic breakfast food for a high price. The last time I visited I was very disappointed and will probably never return. Iordered the eggs benedict with a side of corned beef hash. -There was way too much sauce, which made everything soggy. -The hamwas tough to chew. -The potatoes had absolutely no flavor and were dry. -AND I found a weird tendon or?! something weird in mycorned beef hash. How was this missed and served to a customer?! It was larger than a quarter ???? Read more

This place knows breakfast! My favorite new brunch spot in the Toluca Lake / Burbank area hands down. Hidden in a nondescript... plaza, I would consider them a hidden gem. Their eggs are fresh and bright yellow... the pancakes and waffles are amazing! Mywife tried the French toast last week that has extra crispy crunchy goodness and we couldn't stop thinking about it. This isdefinitely a weekly kind of place. And the staff is so awesome also. Helena knew us by our second visit. This is also a greatplace to bring your puppy (or cat... the people behind us had theirs in a carry case) with tables outside. See you there nextweek! Read more
After all the rave reviews of this place I was really looking forward to bringing my friend Mary here. What a letdown ????! We... got there at 2PM on Friday(they close at 3PM). First off, only online menu(prefer printed), and hard seats! Hard to peruse a bigmenu on a small screen. Everyone was very nice. We ordered Apple Cobbler crepes(Kim's Sunshine $20.95), a coffee ($4.50), CocoCaribbean French Toast($14.95) a glass of V8 juice($3.95), and a side of Home Fried Potatoes($5.50). With tax a total of$54.96! Not cheap! It would have been tolerable if the food lived up to the hype. The Apple Cobbler was simply barely cookedapple slices atop large, folded crepes with lots of sliced almonds. Very dry crepes. Her French Toast was 4 large, dry halveswith Mandarin orange wedges, little pineapple pieces, coconut sprinkles and powdered sugar. Everything looked very pretty butwasn't on point. Not fresh and moist Maybe the crepes were made earlier and just reheated? The coffee was VERY strong and shedid not like it. To their credit, the eggs were perfectly cooked, as were the potatoes and sausage. We were very disappointedand didn't even finish half of the meal. We did not take leftovers home. Read more

I have always wanted to come here but after coming on the weekend twice and being told there would be a long wait, I would... always go somewhere else. Well I had the opportunity to go on at noon on a Thursday and was not disappointed. Regular coffee wasgood and they constantly came around to refill. They had a young crowd working which ment good music playing. I ordered the Locomoco and it was one of the best I've had here in so cal. Pancakes are fluffy and bacon is THICK. Service was also ????
