The Waffle House is a favorite of me and my Dad,but I NEVER want to go back to the one at Hwy 124 and Old Peachtree ( Hog... Mountain) Buford again. There were 7 people working and no one cleaned the 3 booths near the door. Very few customers were thereand finally after close to 10 minutes we were asked if we wanted a booth. We looked confused at the waitress and said of course.It took her several minutes before she decided to clean one. Then another waitress was yelling with a customer at the other endof the store. He wanted to know why they where not getting any food and she told him he could leave, among other things. Weleft. I don't plan on ever going there again. We will go to Hamilton Mill from now on. Omg I have been in here for 22 minutes with only one lady ordering before me and my food just got called. Anytime the heavy set... African American girl with the pink braids is here, she cooks extremely slow with attitude and won?t allow the waitresses tocall the orders until she is completely done with everything on the grill!!! Like who can?t cook more than 3 pieces of bacon atone time?? They won?t answer the phone at all with hardly no one even in the building. Never waited this long for my orderbefore when the older ladies are here alone cooking. I hate seeing this cook here! Omggg Read more
Ate breakfast here and had the worst server, Mrs Sam who has been working at Waffle House since 1995?she?s worked there long... enough to have lost ambition to be a good server and have good manners. She throws silver ware around and rushes you to orderand is inattentive. Her rude attitude has ruined getting breakfast at this location for good. Hope she gets fired honestly. Read more
10/15 - Saturday morning around 10:40am was terrible!! It was nothing like it is Thru the week when I order my food to go! My... toast was not grilled like I asked, the heavy set African American lady that was cooking had an attitude with the older waitressthat I see Thru the week and got mad when I asked for my food to be placed inside a container instead of handed to me like itwas dog scraps. The young African American girl placed my bag on top of the trash and 2 used spoons where a customer had justfinished eating at. When I brought it to get attention twice, she still tried to hand me the contaminated bag. I asked for mysprite but instead she started yelling for another waitress who was outside and proceeded to leave me standing there and wentoutside to go get the waitress. I had to ask another waitress for my sprite. I will never return to that Waffle House locationon the weekend. I was just bragging at how Thru the week, the older whites ladies cook my sandwich like grandma used to make itand they could really cook grits and the grit bowls well too. The gentlemen tonight was amazing! He was the cook and he was our waiter and in between cleaning and working diligently! We were... in there at least an hour and he said the cook that was supposed to be cooking was in the back playing with his phone we neversaw him he never came out! So we double tipped our cook/ waiter . Read more
The place was pretty much a full house when we got there. The one waitress was working very hard to cover the entire restaurant,... including the counter service. When we walked in, she immediately told us that it would be a while before we would get foodbecause she was the only one serving. She apologized for that and said that if we needed to be somewhere we probably should notwait. We decided to wait, she did the best she could and cleared the restaurant, got us our food within about 15 minutes. Wefelt bad for her and gave her a $20 tip for our takeout order. The food was very good and everything that we expected. We didnotice that no one wiped the counter service area the entire time we were there. One person was washing the mini fry pans andsending them upside down on top of the dirty counter, on top of food and debris left behind. That one thing will give us areason to consider not going there again, unfortunately. Read more
I don?t know what happened to this waffle house. Last time I visited one year ago and was amazing. Right now it seems all of... them are confused and don?t know what are they doing. It?s completely a mess. So dirty, no management, bad food quality. Onesimple breakfast took 1.5 hours. I was seated for 45 minutes to order. A lady was washing the dishes behind the bar and wassplashing dirty water to our food. Never ever again. Read more
We LOVE this Waffle House! The staff are always cheerful and the food is always on point.
