Lil pricey, all I had was a lamb burger and two drinks and almost spent $60 with tip. Girls were very nice tho and spoke with... good attitudes so I'd come back just for the service, not so much the upcharges haha. Very nice atmosphere, fairly new everything. It's a club vibe/restaurant. No dinner tables. The drinks were nice, though a bit... pricey. Gratuity automatically added for 2 guests and there's a 3 percent charge added to use card. I?ve seen this place changed the name/owner for four times already and I hope this one (Tavern) stays. The food was good. But do... not order the oxtail as it is very expensive ($30) and they only give u lunch portion. If u crave for some Carribean food, gosomewhere else like Yamon or Who?s Got Soul! I put 2 stars because they charge a fee for using your credit card which is unheardof and the server did not even inform me before running my card. Been wanting to see how this place was since it opened. Just haven?t been in area but finally made it up to here . I read... reviews the extra gratuity scared me away but its not bad or not what ya think just use cash it saves you the fees. This placeis a nice size not big enough to get lost. Vip style all the way threw no regular like common areas but the bar . Im not a famif the seating only because if like next to each other with no separation so could be a problem . The food and drinks werepriced fairly to me cause the drinks were hitting !!! No taps on the alcohol so they pour at free will ? for now til owner getcheap ? the wings were good need extra sauce and real wing sauce not hot sauce with some garnish on it ! . Attended on Christmas Night, loved the service and the food was bomb! The jerk salmon tacos were my favorite, i had to order... some more. I also ordered the chicken nachos they were a bit scarce on the cheese but besides that they were pretty good. Read more
