I have had the pleasure of eating Rico?s fine cuisine since he was back behind the Mall of Georgia in a little shop mostly doing... catering. How his legend has grown is impressive. My wife and I are regulars at his Brunch Apothecary, but the OG Rico?s WorldKitchen will always be #1. The food and flavor are on different levels, and the prices always reasonable. You?ll never have toworry about portion size, because you will be filled up. Rico?s kind mother still bakes some awesome desserts, if you have room.Take it home then, it?ll be very worth it. Friendly attentive staff. Prices are right. Options and daily specials are great. I took a star off due to lack of flavor in the... meat of my Chicken Cuban. Will try again another menu meal. If you haven't been vaccinated I suggest you eat outside. Lots ofceiling fans going inside and several people coughing. Just an observation. Read more
Very quaint, off the beaten path type restaurant. Everything was just delicious. Try the Chicharróns!! And I'm told the cakes... are made from scratch! DAILY!! I tried a giNORMOUS helping of the coconut cake! Moist and to die for. Compliments to the chef! Read more
Truly enjoyed this restaurant. The sangria was delicious and I will be back for more of those. The fried green tomatoes were... pretty good, the steak dish was great, the po boys were awesome and the salmon and grits were impeccable. The salmon was cookedto perfection. First time here. Heard good things. Newer to Buford area. I had the fried green tomato and mushroom sandwich. Hubby had chicken... Cuban. Both were excellent, we went for dinner expecting dinner entrees, but all they offer are sandwiches. Recommend for lunch. Read more
The specials are different everyday ( you can view them on their Facebook page). It's always exciting to see what's new on the... menu! The sandwiches are pretty good too. The patio is small and a little run down but I think that adds to the charm. The waitis a little long too but you can always expect the food to be fresh and tasty. AMAZING food! A great place for vegetarians/vegans, as well! I got the most delicious fried green tomato and fried eggplant... sandwich with sweet potato tots, all of which were SUPERB and not expensive! Our waitress, Olivia, was sweet and patient, andthe service was all around friendly. I would recommend this to anyone! It has a great selection of sandwiches, salads, and alsospecials! Read more
