The first thing you need to be aware when coming here is that the food is delicious but expensive, and the portions are huge!... Other reviews say that you share a plate with someone, that?s true. Me and my husband shared the Korean Chicken BBQ fried riceand we felt it was perfect for both. We spend $71 for 4 people, drinking just one tea and one beer, the rest was their courtesywater, so I believe it could have been $80 or more if we all had drinks. Other than that, we loved this and we would come backspecially for their kimbob because they are delicious and affordable comparing the rest of the plates. They used to be a full service dine-in restaurant, then the pandemic happened. Service suffered here quite a bit to the point I... didn't want to come back. First time in Danji restaurant and YOU have to go! It?s the greatest place with amazing food. The Tonkatsu and Omurice is to die... for. We ate fishcake Udon, soy chicken, Tteok-bokki, kimbap with beer. Everything tasted a great. The service we received was soamazing and we will definitely be back again. I've been to DANJI in Buford several times now... Every dish I've ordered has been great EXCEPT for their actual fried chicken... plate with potatoes... Not a fan and very hard to eat. My favorite dish they have is their OMURICE, you can get it with whateverprotein you'd like but I typically get the beef bulgogi or the first picture you see here, the TON KATSU OMURICE. You basicallyget whatever delicious protein you want with fried rice that is covered with a thin layer of eggs (kind of like an omelette)with a side of cream corn and a salad. Their BULGOGI FRIES are definitely a favorite (enough to share with 4 people) and theirfried dumplings are very tasty. They have these RICE BALLS which I'm a huge fan of, I ask for mine fried TUNA. Think sushi butrolled up into a ball with sauce???? You can get regular sushi if you'd like as well. Their ramen is DELICIOUS but I made themistake of ordering DANJI RAMEN with chicken because it was WAY too spicy for me... It had two little ????? and their max ontheir menu is 4 ?????, I figured I'd be fine... NOPE ???? I still finished it but I suffered the entire way through. Food alwayscomes out quick and the staff is friendly. Some nights I grab my own refills and some nights they come and refill your drinksfor you, I don't mind either way. Danji is a fun spot because they are in the middle of busy Buford right around from the Mallof Georgia but they don't get too ridiculously busy. Good food at reasonable prices with spacious tables for big groups makesthis a fun stop for any occasion. If you go just be careful with your spicy level, don't be fooled!!! ???? Stopped in for lunch. Had the Danji Fried Half Chicken with a side of fried rice and hubby had to have the waffles ????. Waffles... were warm and fluffy and had just the right amount of syrup. The Fried Rice was awesome ???????? ????????. The chicken wasperfectly fried. Not greasy just juicy and crunchy. We didn't feel so heavy after that we were able to continue our groceryshopping.
