Place used to be great. As a single father it was my go to place when I just didn?t have time to cook for my 8 year old. All my... daughter would get is a kid bowl with rice, beans and shredded cheese. The only specific thing I ask for is a large portion ofsalsa on the side (because my daughter likes to dump the whole portion into her bowl). This lady there looks at me like I?m abegger and murmurs to the server something. I asked what and she gave me an attitude saying it?s extra. I said ok but i?ve neverbeen charged and i would like to know how much. I blew it off because it wasn?t a big deal. It wasn?t until the second timearound a few weeks later. I had a long day at work I go in to get a bowl for my daughter and a new sever was basically countingeach grain of rice and beans and a teaspoon of chicken. I didn?t even say anything b/c I realized he was new and he was justdoing what he was being told. The same lady then tells me yes the portion is low and adjusts it by taking a small cup they usefor the sauce to measure how much chicken my daughter was going to get for her dinner. Love the food fresh ingredients and large portions for a salad. Well worth the money and a hit with the locals. I see why... they?re always busy during lunch. First time in. Ordered a taco salad and was surprised at check out when I realized they put everything in a container and not a... taco shell bowl. When I stated I ordered the taco salad, the woman at the counter said I needed to specify the taco shell bowlwhen ordering? Got the bowl on the side. Went to get a fountain drink and noticed something sticky on the ice dispenser and sawit was dripping into the drinks. Grabbed a napkin to wipe off and it was a black substance. Opted for no ice. Turned the cornerand couldn't believe how dirty the floors and seats were. Food was ok, won't be my first choice in the future for Mexican. Read more
Sad! I love this place but not sure what?s going on?.the bowls servings where literally cut in half! Literally half of what they... normally give. I paid extra for guacamole on one of the bowls which was maybe a tablespoon and I also paid extra for guacamolein my taco salad which was absent. I hope this was just a bad day.
