Nice atmosphere. Service good. Bread was decent. Daughter loved pasta. Veal was not good. Wouldn't recommend the veal. Rubbery... and lacked flavor. Pastas and pizzas are probably better choices. Read more

Wonderful place we found visiting Buffalo Grove. The atmosphere was amazing. It's like walking into the 1950s. Customer service... was great. The food was fantastic. We enjoyed every dish we had. Actually went 2 days in a row. We were starving so I didn'tget pictures of everything. If you're in the area, definitely stop in and enjoy a wonderful meal. ???? Read more

Clean place, friendly staff, and incredible food! First time here and already want to come back. They take allergies very... seriously and a lot of the food is homemade! Wonderful place for a family meal and will lift your spirits. White sauce ismind-blowing and the meatballs are miracles. Servers give good recommendations and the price is amazing! Definitely a good placeto go to. Read more

I was looking for a nice place to eat with a patio that won't break the bank. Sal and Tony's did exactly that! Service was... great! From the man who helped us to the patio, *we had a stroller* to the buss boy, to the server.(Jana) Everyone was veryhelpful and friendly We started with fried calamari which was cooked to perfection, our Pomegranate martinis were delicious andTHE PIZZA! THE PIZZA is exactly what I look for in a great thin crust pizza. We got the Sal's special and it was AMAZING!Perfect thin crust super crunchy and had just the right amount of sauce, cheese and toppings. I can't wait to come back with myhusband. This will definitely be a new favorite of ours! Read more

I understand this is a casual restaurant but the staff was behaving waaay too casually (chasing each other, not paying attention... to people waiting to be seated, watching TV instead of tending to customers)? The food is mediocre. Sizable portions but thequality is not there. I could tell the marinara sauce was out of a tin can? Side salads were bland and not really fresh. Read more

It?s a fun place. Good food. It?s kinda weird it?s connected to the public works infrastructure. Golfers like stopping in... before or after their game. Great sausage pepperoni pizza. Ingredients sourced from small suppliers. I had a vodka with pizza. Can?t go wrong on a vodka pour. Read more

This restaurant is GREAT! The Host looks like a mix of Peter Clemenza and Luka Brazzi from The Godfather! The food was VERY... good, that we ate there TWICE in 2 days! Grrreat Sausage and Peppers, Pasta, Bread, Salads, Deserts, etc. Great job guys! Weshall be back again and again! A+ and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Note: If it were my place, I would add Pizza! I am hopeful that theowner reads this review, because it would certainly draw in more age groups, including young families, and ultimately ADDING totheir bottom line. Best of luck, guys! Read more

We took advantage of the warm weather and their patio seating to enjoy great Italian food (and maybe some cold beverages as... well!) Their peppers and sausage appetizer balances the sweet of the roasted pepper with the spice of the Italian sausage. Vealgiambatta was presented with roasted potato wedges, and the combination of veal and sausage was quite tasty. I didn't realizethat the Veal was going to be breaded, but it did a good job soaking up the sauce. We enjoyed our meal and the SERVICE wasexcellent! Read more
