Wonderful place we found visiting Buffalo Grove. The atmosphere was amazing. It's like walking into the 1950s. Customer service... was great. The food was fantastic. We enjoyed every dish we had. Actually went 2 days in a row. We were starving so I didn'tget pictures of everything. If you're in the area, definitely stop in and enjoy a wonderful meal. ???? Read more
Clean place, friendly staff, and incredible food! First time here and already want to come back. They take allergies very... seriously and a lot of the food is homemade! Wonderful place for a family meal and will lift your spirits. White sauce ismind-blowing and the meatballs are miracles. Servers give good recommendations and the price is amazing! I was looking for a nice place to eat with a patio that won't break the bank. Sal and Tony's did exactly that! Service was... great! From the man who helped us to the patio, *we had a stroller* to the buss boy, to the server.(Jana) Everyone was veryhelpful and friendly We started with fried calamari which was cooked to perfection, our Pomegranate martinis were delicious andTHE PIZZA! THE PIZZA is exactly what I look for in a great thin crust pizza. We got the Sal's special and it was AMAZING!Perfect thin crust super crunchy and had just the right amount of sauce, cheese and toppings. I can't wait to come back with myhusband. I understand this is a casual restaurant but the staff was behaving waaay too casually (chasing each other, not paying attention... to people waiting to be seated, watching TV instead of tending to customers)?
