First off went on a Saturday morning. Not from the area just saw this place in a strip mall first time there. Place was doing a... brisk business, which I saw as a positive. However it made my wait longer. The owner saw me being rather inpatient and offeredme a free soft drink which was nice. My order was 2 bagels and a corned beef sandwich. I gazed at the bagel counter and thebagels looked perfectly imperfect, again a good thing. All the bagels were loaded with toppings. I got one plain and oneeverything. I took them home and ate the everything, it was amazing, best bagel I have ever hade. Fresh and fluffy. Add thehomemade cream cheese and it was pure joy. The corned beef sandwich was also quality, but a little small for the price, not adeterrent. Recap, skip Einstein and try this place you will not be disappointed I am going back now. Read more

Holy salt attack! I got the lox on an everything bagel and I understand that capers are salty, that's what should provide the... salty taste but they had a crazy amount of salt on the salmon! I could feel my blood pressure rising as I was eating it. Alsothe potato salad tasted like it went bad. I really wanted to like this place but they need some quality control in the kitchen. One of my favorite lunch spots in Buffalo Grove! The food is fresh, and I cannot stress how a BLT on challah is a crazy good... combination. Their large selection and awesome portion sizes makes sure everyone is well fed and happy. The staff is so sweetand the owner, Lon is very attentive when it comes to comments and feedback. Instant recommendation to all my office partners. Read more

Good food, normal High $$ . But service is slow and backwards. 1) ask your phone? Why for a cup of coffee and a bagel? Then... someone try?s to enter your order electronically , come on at a Jewish deli and most decide as they order , give me extra lox, more please, let?s try the Tuna? The cookies look good. You can?t add once the order is entered. Then you watch all the staffwalk around with there heads down and trying to decipher the small print order and usually the person who did not take the orderis the one who messes the order up. And your visit takes 2 times longer then other any Deli in the Chicagoland area. 10 minutesto get a order if your the only one ordering? 20 minutes if 2 people are ahead of you. Read more

AMAZING! Their Challah french toast sticks are so fluffy, sweet, and delicious. I ordered the Lon's Turkey Reuben sandwich.... Probably the best sandwich I've had, hands down. Crispy bread, flavorful dressing and coleslaw, packed with moist turkey. My mangot their classic Reuben with chopped liver and said it was the best he's had. "I don't want it to end." His exact words. Theirpotato salad is perfectly salted, creamy and hearty. I'm very picky with potatoes salad, and theirs is the best I've had. Highlyrecommend them! Read more

Everything we ordered was fresh, delicious and high quality. Pastrami on rye, the Reuben, Turkey and cheese on a Poppy seed... bagel, Matzo ball soup, halvah, latkes. The people who work there are friendly and give great service. The line is often longbut understandably so. Read more
