Reviews for Lake Stop Resort in Buffalo, WY
Needed an RV site for one night so the campground served its purpose but there?s nothing special about this place. Rv park looks... abandoned and run down, pool water is green/brown, showers looked clean but I?d be surprised if someone comes in there daily toclean. This place could really be great if they took time to do some landscaping and add some shade to the sites. There?s weirdbrick walls surrounding the electric box and dump site which makes plugging in and dumping somewhat difficult, not to mentionthe spiders that have taken over. The girl who checked me in was very friendly, there was good cell signal and the electricityworked well so those would be my only positive notes. For $44/night, I would not stay again. Read more
Ate dinner. Prime Rib was really good!!
We came to Wyoming for a wedding, and we had originally booked somewhere else but had stopped by before checking into our hotel... to meet with the bride and groom. As soon as we got here, Beth the GM was freaking AMAZING! We decided to void the otherreservation and stay here. The entire staff is incredible. If you ever want to go somewhere and feel like you?re best friendswith people, this is the place. I have travelled all over this planet, and I don?t want to sound to heavy, but it?s theabsolute best service I?ve ever received! Highly recommended, I wish I could stay forever! It?s that good! Great people! Very helpful and good hearted staff. Nice hotel with a great view of the lake. Has a mellow little bar attached.... Better and more affordable than the hotels in Bishop. Recommend this hotel! Read more
I would give the resort two or three stars except the service was amazing. Very helpful staff. I stayed as an RV guest and it's... not a very pretty RV park. No pull throughs, not many spots with 50 AMP. They do have a nice pool. If you are okay with drycamping there are plenty of spots by the lake that are absolutely beautiful. Read more
We stayed overnight in a 38' Class A RV. Some sites have 50 amp, the rest have 30. Overall the sites are a very weird design.... The electric and water are at the front of the site not at the back as normal. The sewer is inside a cement square. Hard to getto. We needed to use our electrical extension cord to reach the pedestal. There was a pool and a lounge and a heated spa. Alsoit is very close to the lake, which is very clean and was fun to swim in. There are about 20 sites here and some are full timeresidents some are open for staying. Worth an overnight but make sure you have extra long power Cords and water and sewer. Read more
People are friendly and very helpful. Cabins/rooms are very well maintained. By far the best place I have ever been to and plan... on returning to again. The sights and scenic views are simply mind blowing. And the food is absolutely amazing. Read more
