Walked to the Seneca location on work after having been a few times! Super cute location and open atrium space make for a... peaceful place to grab a bite and get away from your desk for a while. The turkey avocado wrap was pretty good if a littlebland, but definitely gerously sized and fresh tasting. Pesto pasta salad with sundried tomatoes was not a favorite because ofthe overwhelming amount of sweet sundried tomatoes so I might skip that next time. This isn't so much a review as a general comment. First and foremost i would to say that the food is extremely good and i think... that the soup and sandwich combo is one of the best lunch deals in Buffalo. There soups are always phenomenal. My issue iswith the staff and I hope that management sees this review / comment. I have been going to this location since it opened. Iusually go 2-3 times per week. The staff doesn't know my name and the fact that I ALWAYS get my food to eat there. Theyconstantly give me my food to go. This wouldn't be a big deal but the container that holds the soup is nearly impossible to getoff and when i can get it off i usually burn myself. Even when I say my food is for here they will still wrap everything uplike it is a to go order, usually forgetting the pickle. Included in the S/S combo is a coffee or drink. They never remember togive me my coffee cup. For someone new going to the place they would probably get jipped of a drink because they do not knowany better...in summary... learn your customer, especially your regulars. I?m an employee in the 500 Seneca St building and frequent The Lunch Box on a regular basis. I think the food is very good, and... it?s so nice to have some place to eat right in the building on days when I don?t feel like making something on my own. Onething I would love to see are a few more vegan options on the menu. Certain things can be made vegan, but that list is stillquite limited. It would also be nice to have a vegan breakfast option too. Other than that, I enjoy the convenience of thislocation very much. Read more
