Being new to Buffalo, coming from Dallas, the food (appetizers only) was excellent, however, the service was very poor. We first... thought it was self service because no one acknowledged our arrival, after the kind host seated us for the first 15 minutes.Staff is dressed poorly as well. With the price-point of the restaurant you would expect a higher level of diningsophistication. There are several other fine restaurants in Western New York that would be a better match for the price youwill pay. Read more

We visited the Dapper Goose during a weekend away to Buffalo. The menu looked delightful online so we made a reservation. We... were welcomed warmly as soon as we entered and our drinks arrived shortly after we were seated. We ordered many of the smallplates which arrived in 2 parts. My husband raved about the green beans and carrots, which is unusual since he’s more of ameat eater. I loved the octopus. There was not one dish that disappointed. The drinks were inventive, unique and delicious. Weloved our visit and will return. Read more

The food is really good. The octopus small plate was delicious. The Korean BBQ chicken was awesome. Super crispy and again,... delicious. The schnitzel was also very good. A little slow on delivering the cocktails. The bread pudding was phenomenal. Theplace is very small and very loud. Don’t expect close and intimate conversation during your meal. Read more

This place is the perfect place for a nicer date night. From their dimly lit restaurant but still really nice decor to the... professional and friendly service, they really know how to make everyone feel welcome. I believe their menu also changes fromtime to time and they have plenty of gluten free options which is always a bonus! Fish and seafood is always a risk to order inBuffalo but this one did not disappoint at all. I ordered the halibut topped with a bourbon peach sauce, zucchini, fennel andplum. Everything was cooked to the perfect texture and taste; soft but still firm and still retains the flavor mixed together inthe dish. Trust me, you can tell the difference in the quality of food sourced here, level of cooking and presentation/care putinto their food. This is a place you have to try at least once. Read more

I had an amazing time at this quaint little restaurant felt like I was in France or California but you would never know that... there is this hidden gem looking from the outside. There is a rustic look to the inside with a beautiful bar , optional patioseating in what I would call a one of a kind setting (see photos) I can't even describe the outdoor patio you would have to seeit to believe it. Our bartender Tim knew his craft very well I tried a new drink I had never had before during happy hour beforeI was seated at my table and our server Nick made me want to order everything off the menu with how he describe them in detail.I ended up going with a nice white wine (furst, elbling) at dinner because of Nick's description of the grapes that are used tomake it . I also love how the menu changes weekly because all the food products are sources locally. The different locations ofwhere they get there food is listed on the menu which is something I wish every restaurant would do. My only issue is that Ican't try everything in one sitting and I need to before it's off the menu. I will note that they do have regulars that arealways on the menu. I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could. Will definitely be going back. Read more

Wonderful place to enjoy a evening meal, or just to grab a few drinks. The inside dining area is spacious and you even have an... option to be seated outside. For me, I feel their inside dining area is much better than outside. Service was phenomenal.. Ourwaters was always top off, and our tables was always cleared. I was quite pleased dining here and will be back again. Shrimpceviche- Not your typical ceviche.. Normally you have ceviche with a citrus (lemon) type dressing, and the shrimp is minced up.Here the dressing is sweet and the shrimps are whole. With that being said, the ceviche was really good. Blackened green beans-A little spicy and the flavor was good Ricotta toast- This was a simple appetizer with fresh clean tasting toppings Cheeseplate- I have seen other cheese plates with more to them. For instance, some come with fruits and nuts. But this cheese boardhad 3 types of cheeses, jams and spreads. Doesn't seem like a lot, but it works. The quality of the selections are above andbeyond common. Eggplant caponata- This also isn't your typical caponata, and you know what. I'm cool with that. By far, thiswas the best caponata that I ever had. Korean chicken- Crispy and the sauce was really good. Could've been better if thechicken wasn't tough. Fettuccine- I loved the corn and the crab sauce. But my only complaint was the noodles were not cook longenough. Read more
