Southern Junction?s food is absolutely delicious. It?s a hidden gem! There?s a great selection of daily sides that go perfectly... with every meat entree. While there?s no current room for seating, there?s plenty of room outside at the picnic tables. We can?twait to go back! Read more
It took some time to get here, as the hours are not ideal, but understandable given the nature of real bar-b-que. Straight up... this place delivers. Unfortunately, no ribs or pulled pork were available today. But the barbacurry has offered more thanenough incentive to return. Read more
My friend Bruce, highly recommended that I stop by, what he considers one of the best BBQ joints north of the Mississippi,... Southern Junction, located on Chandler St. I met the owner Ryan, and he explained that he gave the staff off for the holidayweekend and he only sells cold orders on Saturday. Before I turned into a sad face, Ryan tells me, I don't want you to leaveempty handed, and puts together a lil'sumthing, sumthung, a few tender/ juicy briquette slices for me, to take. OMG ???? thisis so good!! Read more

I do BBQ. I?ve been cooking whole pig for forty years. I?m not half bad at it. These people make me look like a piker. Ryan?s... command of flavor and the skill that?s implemented by him and his team, make for a truly unique BBQ experience that isunparalleled. The fusion of southern Indian flavor and Texas Q works in a way that few things do. There is no other BBQ in theregion that compares. Mine included. Read more
Been meanjng to get by this place for a long time. As a native Texan, I am inherently a huge barbecue fan and I was excited to... try this interesting concept that fuses Indian and BBQ cuisines. Though I haven?t tried their lunch and dinner offerings theirbreakfast is fire. I have now tried the brisket and barbacurry breakfast tacos ($5 each) and the sausage kolache (a classicTexas breakfast a item). Everything was delicious and I can't to try their biriyani bbq bowls soon! Read more
