Went for the wings and they were phenomenal. Best wings I’ve ever had. Smoked, then grilled or put over fire (perfectly crispy... and juicy) and all the sauces we tried were delicious. Mac n cheese, brisket, cornbread, poutine, everything we tried was soooogood! Also hands down best ranch I’ve ever had. Service was fantastic, everyone was so nice! And they had some good vegetarianoptions as well! Zero complaints. 10/10 recommend everyone go there asap. Read more
Excellent bbq and nice service staff. My only complaint was our apps arrived about 10min after our entrees, but they were really... delicious… so still okay. Highly recommend the wings and the brisket! Fried green tomatoes were pretty good too. Nice spot topop into. Read more
Stopped in after Buffalo Bison game. Fried Green Tomatoes are yummy! Ordered 3 meat combo. Sides were not as hot as we prefer... so sent them back. Without even asking they adjusted our bill. The perfect gateway to experiencing American BBQ. Chicken, Ribs, Brisket, Mac n’Cheese, Mashed Potatoes and gravy, Americans... know what the heart wants. As a Canadian, BBQ spots like this are rare, so when we’ve come down to Buffalo for the last twomonths, we’ve made it a mission to come here. The first time we came here was on a whim as we drove back from New York Cityand wow was it amazing. After driving for so long, this meal did wonders. The Mac n’Cheese is like nothing I’ve had inCanada and wish more restaurants up here did like Americans make it. The mashed potatoes and gravy was just as good, man youAmericans do sides justice. As for the meat, I can’t say enough good things. The ribs were excellent, like rib festival typeof good. The brisket and pulled pork went really well with the house BBQ sauce. One downside was the chicken, we just felt thatcompared to the other options it just did not keep up in terms of flavour. The ambience and vibe of the restaurant is what youwould envision an American BBQ spot would look like. The service is alright, some servers we’ve had are courteous and check upon us, while some drop menus on the table and walk away without a word. We reviewed it a 4/5 sheerly because upon our secondvisit to here, we felt that the food was just not as good as the first time all around. The sides and meat were all dryer thistime, but the restaurant did seem to be much more busy so it can be slightly understandable. A great spot for some BBQ! The combo platter came with two choices of meat, two sides, and cornbread. The chicken was juicy and... had a great smokey flavor. The brisket was amazing - juicy, tender, and flavorful. This place does amazing brisket. Mashedpotatoes were great and the BBQ fried rice was delicious. The half rack of ribs were decent. Unfortunately they weren't thejuiciest. Didn't quite fall off the bone. But it wasn't too dry either. I think the BBQ saved the ribs. The fries and the Macand cheese were really good! This place is good. Coming from a young lady from Houston, Texas!!! They might have a wait sometimes to get a table but it's... worth it. Good it good! Service is good! Drinks are good. I always get the 3 meat combo with 2 sides when I comehere???????????????????????????????? I can't wait to go back. I come to Rochester when I have to be on work travel but I alwaysstop here. Service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable regarding the food choices. He was very quick and... efficient. Have to pay for parking unless you can get a spot on the street. Food was okay. Ribs were nice and tender except forone piece was kind of hard. Cornbread and Mac & cheese wasn't the best but it was still okay. I was only really interested inthe ribs and salad anyway. Was torn between ordering the Cajun catfish or ribs when I first arrived. Read more
Loved this BBQ Joint Great service. Attentive and good recommendations. Poutine fries were delicious. Ordered the combo... platter: ribs, brisket, & pulled pork.
