Wow!! Showed up just after opening on a Wednesday. Place was empty. Needles to say service was super quick. Biggest problem I... had was trying to decide from the good choices on the chef special list. Chose the Gnocchi and don't regret it. Everything wasperfectly balanced, not too much sauce, not too much garlic, the shrimp weren't over cooked, Gnocchi wasnt doughy and absolutelyno shell left on the tail of the shrimp (pet peave of mine). Ted was the chef, he nailed the other meals that he cooked while Iwas there. Smelled awesome. (Cooked the catfish) I was too full to try any others but the other customer said it was awesometoo. Jordan the bartender, had plenty of suggestions and was very approachable. The martinis are great as well. I'm only herefor a short time, but will be visiting again to try something different. Absolutely wonderful. The new chef is definitely a keeper. 4 different dished and all of them were amazing, the drinks was... delicious, and even our attendant Matt was fenominal. D-Tour is a place I wanted to try for quite sometime. The decor is beautiful and sets you into a very relaxing state. The... building is long with the lovely bar area to your right and the dining tables are to the left. The bar area stretches to thekitchen area that is open to the view of the public. For appetizers we ordered the shrimp crostini. Which is shrimp on a toastedbaguette with gorgonzola spread top with a dab of hot sauce. We also had a order of meatballs. Both were good and I would orderthem again, especially if I was having a few drinks at the bar. For dinner my wife ordered the French pork chop, top with applechuntney and a side of sweet potato stuffing. I felt her dish was just ok, I would've liked the pork chop to be seasoned alittle more, and scrap the sweet potato stuffing. I am not a fan of stove top stuffing, and I felt it was mixed into the sweetpotatoes. I ordered the chicken Milanese with arugala, I must say it was good. I really enjoyed the chocolate Martini. Will Icome back, yes I would. But I would come for the drinks and order the appetizers. Read more
My second day of restaurant week. This was an enjoyable visit. I started with the meatballs that won the meatball streetbrawl... recently. Nice actually very nice on the sweet side but good just the same. On to restaurant week entry Local Restaurant WeekFall 2018 DINNER for ONE: $20.18 (tax and gratuity excluded) First Course Chicken & Waffles ?sesame panko crusted chicken /sweet potato waffle / honey maple butter scallions Second Course Seared Atlantic Salmon ? roasted acorn squash / potatoes / kale/ lemon vinaigrette Try our award winning Bison Meatballs for only $5! Not bad but I'm not sure how I feel about about thechicken & waffles not what I was expecting I guess I will have to try it again and see how it goes. Sadly the salmon did notfare as well. On the fishy side 4-6 oz. of fishy salmon a little bit too dry but I was asked how I wanted it cooked and I saidchef's choice won't make that mistake again. Went here for lunch and it was amazing!!! Food was so good. Great lunch specials, buy one meal get on half off. $39.00 lunch for... a party of 4, with an app. Did I mention the food was amazing. Great service. Cant wait come back and add martinis!!!! Read more
