I've very disappointed in the food I ordered for my granddaughters birthday. I ordered 30 pieces chicken dinners. And it was... tasteless and some wasn't cooked all the way. When I called to tell them they had me take a picture of the uncooked chicken andI did and no response. So few days later I got in the mail a 25.00 dollar gift card. I spent 400 dollars on the food. I cannot believe this BBQ place is rated as high as it is, it was simply bad. I had the half chicken two sides and a small side... of their brisket to give it a try. Let?s start with the overall, not sure how they do it but they manage to get zero wood smellor taste into their meats. The brisket was tender, but had zero smoke ring on it or bark, it was a grey mass of meat. I feelbad for the poor cow that gave its life to make this abomination what what this place calls BBQ. Two day old pot roast warmedup in a microwave is better than what I had. Now on to the chicken. It had a nice char on it but again no smell or taste thatwould give you the impression it interacted with wood. I saw on the menu they charge extra for white meat. I did not do thatand I am very thankful of that choice. It took a 16 oz bottle of water to get the breast down. It was so dried out I am prettysure it was shelf stable. For sides I got the coleslaw and veg of the day. Coleslaw was average and the corn was very starchyand had zero flavor. The only bright spot was their BBQ sauce. It was the only thing that had any smoke flavor. It was nottoo sweet and nice. I would actually purchase it. Nice job on the sauce, your stars are based on it. My husband and I used BW's catering services for our outdoor wedding this June. The staff handling my calls and questions were... polite and helpful. They kindly followed my requests for changing some ingredients due to food allergies/intolerances. Weordered chicken and pork dinners, pasta, spuds, and a salad for 115 people. BW's arrive on time, cooked the food on-site, andserved the food exactly when we wanted. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! Definitely a great value. DELICIOUS!! super tender, caramelized.... perfect. will... be coming back for those on a regular basis!! now to review the other food- my friend had the broccoli cheese soup which he saidwas fantastic. the dinner rolls were adequately soft potato bread rolls. the banana peppers stuffed with cheese were good, butnot amazing to the point that i would order them again. the ribs had a good flavor and were fall apart tender, sooo soft, notdry at all, but way too fatty for us. would not order again. the sweet potato fries were great, they came with a honey buttersauce that was delicious. definitely going back for the tenderloin tips and sweet potato fries! atmosphere was decent, niceprivacy in the booths with taller covid barrier windows up. took quite a while to get the food though. server was pleasant anddid a good job. The Sauce is amazing, my chicken wings were undercooked and potato skin were like crackers. The replacement wings were better!... My friend had Ribs, fries and potato salad. The ribs melt in your mouth, fries could have been hotter and the potatoes in saladwas to hard. Gave three Stars Read more
Hadn't been in awhile. Got take out. Ribs were as good as I remember,which is to say great! Chicken was better then I... remembered. The fries were a Huge disappointment. Used to be fresh cut.
