We were in town for a family gathering and when I saw there was now a Bocce Club pizza place downtown - I was pretty... excited...until we got the pizza. It was okay, at best. Not at all what I remember Bocce Club pizza to be. The dough was abit dry and the sausage they used was not at all tasty, and it too was very dry. Sad to say, I was disappointed. I'm doing 2 stars. I've had the pizza once and it was great. I started working in Buffalo and decided "Hey I'll order my shift a... sheet of pizza" to be told they don't deliver down the street. But you can send it out to other states... just disappointed. Read more
I was born and raised in Buffalo and I?ve always loved Bocce pizza and that is why I was so excited to see Bocce at the Buffalo... airport when I was there last week headed out on vacation. My excitement quickly dissipated when my family received the two piesthat we ordered. The pizza was horrible. The dough was not the traditional Bocce dough but rather seemed to be a generic frozendough and the sauce was bland and I believe served straight from a can. Bocce you can do better, the pizza at the airport is anembarrassment, travelers to our city should be welcomed with the awesome pizza that our city has to offer. Read more
The customer service at this place was off the charts GREAT!! Very helpful in creating a wonderful new menu item ( hopefully... ????????). The TBZ grilled veggie sub. Grilled onions, green peppers, sweet peppers, banana peppers, & mushrooms on a toastedbun with lettuce & tomatoes. Amazing !! They?ve also got hot slices ready to go for a quick lunch. Read more
I go to lots of new pizza places all the time and try their slices. This review is off me going in and getting a cheese slice. I... prefer cheese only so it's always nice to find places that serve cheese slices. The prices are kinda high but I'm not gonna letthat reflect my review considering the economy right now but almost 10$ for a water, cheese slice and blue cheese is obnoxiousfor this area. The pizza is definitely exceptionally good though, they have good blue cheese, the place looks cleaner than anypizzeria I've seen in the area(maybe cuz it's new but still) and the counter person was nice, I'll be back Read more
As long as I've lived in Buffalo I've never had Bocce Club. Decided to give it a try today. Ordered a 1/2 which is way more... than I expected. Thought it would be 1/2 of a small. Not complaining, I have lunch for tomorrow! Pizza was cooked just right,great crust, good quality cheese and they had black and green olives. (Some places never have green) They lost one star becauseof canned mushrooms. Canned mushrooms never belong on a fresh pizza. They're tasteless, bland rubbery nuggets of no no. Pleaseswitch to fresh, fresh on pizza are amazing. Will definitely be ordering from Bocce again. Read more
I ordered a cheese and pepperoni pizza well done, but this pizza was not well done at all. It wasn?t cooked long enough and also... had way too much pepperoni. Every inch of it was covered in pepperoni, piled on top of each other in some spots. Definitely morepepperoni than other places give you when you order EXTRA pepperoni. I have ordered from other Bocce locations before, and Iwill stick with those locations before trying this one again. Read more
