Our waitress tried to accommodate but was limited due to rules. We were not allowed to order hot water since they did not offer... tea. The corn was burnt tasting. The cheesecake tasted good but was still frozen. We were not allowed to have a to go cup forthe drink we paid $2.75 for. The food took quite a while to come out. No handicap parking and bathroom is not handicapaccessible and the real kicker they ask you to not flush the toilet paper. Read more

I should have known by the looks of the sign out front with missing panels and wrapped with a banner for their name, as well as... a cargo trailer sitting by the front door with the dumpster next to it, that they don't take pride in their establishment. I'mnot even going to talk about the food... The worst part was at the end when I went to the restroom and saw a sign stating not toflush the toilet paper so there is a trashcan overflowing next to the sink with used toilet paper right under the paper toweldispenser... And no holder for the toilet paper so you're supposed to pick up the same roll everyone else's dirty hands havetouched? And a pump soap dispenser to touch after everyone else has wiped and touched it?!? Very disgusting. I'm not sure howthe health department allows this. Apparently sanitation and cleanliness are not very important to them so if this is what theyshow you in the restroom what are you NOT seeing in the kitchen where food is prepared?! No thanks. Definitely will never goback! Read more

Do NOT waste your money!! My husband and I both ordered steak. Neither one was cooked correctly. I ordered mine well done... received it rare, almost raw. sent it back still got it back rare. When I brought it to waitresses attention she argued that thesteak was cooked how I ordered. (Sorry, but when your plate is full of blood from meat-and you cut into it and it still lookslike it came straight off the cow-that ain?t well done) It looked like the cook literally put it on grill flipped and removedwithin a matter of seconds. Small portion of cold mashed potatoes 3 pieces of asparagus and a cold best choice dinner roll Thedinner roll had a hair on it so when I finally was able to flag down the server, she brought me a different roll which was alsocold. When I asked for the roll to be heated she informed me that they don?t heat their rolls. Dinner salad had barely anythingin the bowl. Waitress didn?t even check on us to refill drinks. I didn?t eat my meal at all. When owner asked how our meal was Itold him about everything and told him we would not be back, he didn?t even care and he wiped his hands and gave us ourtotal, which for only 2 people was way over priced, we paid 50 bucks for the meal in which I didn?t even eat?.and we had to wait45 minutes for it to begin with and we were only 1 of 3 small tables there. This owner does not care to serve quality food andcould care less about customer satisfaction. For us, we will stick with The Carfish Cafe. Read more

We went to Jem's on a Saturday evening with 6 adults, 1 child and a baby. We had a nice waitress that promptly took our drink... order. 5 ordered Dr Pepper only for her to return and say they were out. Which was fine we changed to a different choice. Thenwhen our food came the Chicken Alfredo my daughter had ordered had a hair in it. We showed the waitress and she put anotherorder in. We were 1 drink shy of what we ordered and so she brought it. 3 of the drinks served were not what was ordered. Mydaughter had to wait 15 minutes for her order to be remade whilst everyone else ate. The plates were served with toast and notrolls. My oldest daughter had asked for steak sauce and she brought her 2 bottles that between them had a tablespoon or less ofsauce. When asking for a bottle that had sauce the waitress stated they were out of that as well. Steakhouse with no steaksauce, no Dr. Pepper and no rolls. We had also asked for silverware for the youngest daughters plate when it was remade and shehad to wait an extra 5 minutes for that. No refills were ever offered either. Our meals were 150.00 including an almost a $23.00gratuity. When the manager asked how our dinner was as we were leaving we were honest. He stated that he is not sure why we weretold there was no Dr Pepper or steak sauce as they did have it available. He also stated that he was sorry for the review andnothing more. We will not be dining there again and have nothing nice to say about the service or food. Read more

Small little place located between a flea market and flower shop. Our server was the sweetest gal. Our food came out quickly and... was absolutely delicious. The filet was so tender you could cut it with a fork and shrimp was cooked perfectly. The pasta wasflavorful and creamy with a cjun kick. Lots of shrimp and crab. Portion large enough to share. Though, I think you'd like itwell enough to have some for later. The Cajun dip is really good! Read more

Had a late lunch with a friend. I had the cashew chicken, not quite Springfield cashew chicken, but a very good take on it. We... both enjoyed our meal and visit. The staff was friendly and the place was nice and clean. I felt the price was reasonable, forthe portion served. We both left full, and took part of it home. A nice sit down restaurant. I look forward to dining hereagain. Read more
