Food is very expensive I went here expecting to pay what you typically pay in any Mexican restaurant, tacos are $6 each and they... look really basic like the ones I could make at home if you can find something better even if you have to drive to Lompoc Iwould do that instead. Read more

What a great little Mexican restaurant! A nice patio and the menu is large and diverse. I believe this is some of the best... Mexican food in Buellton. It's off the beaten path, but well worth the walk or drive. Read more

Local owned, local pride. Legit non corporate-Mex. No sellout corporate "coastal cuisine" nonsense here ( I'm looking at you... Rubio's!). Happy hospitable vibe Excellent family run spot. We'll make it a must stop each time we're on the 101. Pride ofownership in every detail. Beautiful touches in the little details like an orchid blossom garnish on the house margarita. Read more

We went for dinner and ordered the Molcajete. We had the salsa on the side for we were told that it was rather spicy.... Unfortunately, the experience was a bit lackluster. They advertise the dish as being "presented sizzling on a lava rockmolcajete...". Needles to say, it wasn't the case. The dish was served on a regular bowl and the meat was far from "sizzling".If anything, it was lukewarm. As you can see in the picture, it had a good presentation, but it was nothing compared to what wasadvertised. We were truly looking forward to the picturesque presentation showed on the restaurant's screen menu and online. Asfor the service and atmosphere, while our waitress began our experience providing food customer service, that ended quick as shetalked away with another guest while we needed help completing service for our order. Eventually I had to get up and approachthe counter to ask for it missing items. The restaurant's atmosphere was spot on recreating the feeling given by the traditional"hole in the wall" Mexican eatery. Overall the food tested ok and while the presentation was disappointing and the service abit impersonal, it was only one dish and I am but ready to dismiss a restaurant based on only one dish. The have a wide array ofdishes and I want to try other dishes before I give up on this place. Read more

I though I yelped already but I'll do it again. I took my husband there for lunch today. He is a very hard man to please but he... gave this resturant an 8. The only reason he didn't give them a 10 WAS BECAUSE OF THE AC, lol. The food was delicious, theportions were huge, the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be returning! Read more
