Food was terrible and cost me $75 for 2 burgers and 1 chicken sandwich. I also made the mistake of paying $9 for 2 bags of... chips and a little container of cheese. I get you are a business and have to make money but ripping people off will close yourbusiness fast. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Read more
This is a great place to spend the day on the Nantahala River. They serve food and drinks including a full bar. There is a play... area for kids, pet friendly and there's a spot where you can get right in the river where the kayaks and rafts get out of theriver. Read more
We had the chicken sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. They were both delicious and the service was fast and friendly.
Last year this had good food at a decent enough price. Now the prices are outrageous. $17 for a hamburger! I ordered the nacho... appetizers for 10.00. It turned out to be 2 small bags of taco chips and a side of melted cheese. A can of beer 7$. So for 17.00I got 2 small bags of taco chips, melted cheese and a small can of warm lite beer (that wasn?t even marked as lite on the menu).Add 3$ for the tip because I can?t blame the employee for outrageous prices. Great atmosphere (the river)! you would think you could get decent food. It used to be edible but this year Spring 2022 it is... TERRIBLE. We paid $54 for a burger, grilled cheese, Margarita and a side of potato salad. It was terrible. I would compare it topublic school lunch but worse.. The staff are super nice though and I could tell they felt bad when I said something about myoriginal side order the slaw when it was old and browned and dried. They gave me the potato salad which i was able to at leasttake a few bites of. Its a real same the NOC lets this quality of food slide. We will continue to come to this area and Irecommend you do the same if you love whitewater but BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH FROM HOME. Read more
Simple menu. Good food. We had three tacos. I like that they allow you to mix and match. I had the carnitas, shrimp ceviche, and... chicken. Fresh lettuce. Tomatoes and crumble cheese. Nice spot to have a drink by the water. They have a good local beerselection and some tasty mixed drinks. Plenty of seating on the deck and down by the river. I had a great time with friends and family I recommend anybody to go there and they got a chance. If you love the mountains... you're going to love this place in the river. Watching kayakers going through and all the people who enjoy themselves. Read more
