Went here on my Birthday. I enjoyed all the courses. The very different appetizers were interesting and delicious. Good size... entries so your not going home hungry. A BYOB also. Will enjoy coming back for more. The staff was more than helpfull by makingus feel at home. Price was reasonable I believe? It was my birthday so my kids paid. Read more

Myself and three other friends came here for dinner to catch up and enjoy a relaxing evening out. Our reservation was at 7:45... and after our experience last night, I am now well aware the kitchen closes at 9. Having said that, two of the four guests werethere on time and the other two made it by 8pm. Our server told myself and the other guest (even though the other two hadn?tarrived) that we should definitely start ordering because the kitchen closes at 9. Ok, so here we are, rushed right from thebeginning. Why allow a reservation at 7:45 if servers will then rush us and tell guests what time the kitchen is closing? Maybestop reservations at 7pm then? Next, we were all sharing pasta dishes so we ordered quite a few and when they were brought outto us, my Asian friend said you can just set them anywhere, we are all sharing. The man who brought them out said ?this isn?t aChinese restaurant, we don?t do share?. Maybe he was trying to be humorous but we were completely taken aback by that comment. It was completely inappropriate. Dessert didn?t make it?s way to our table because we never ordered any as we were told againwe better get our order in because the kitchen is closing at 9. RUSHED! Lastly, there isn?t a hook or a little table to hang orset your handbag on in the restroom. You either hold it or it goes on the floor. My husband, an executive chef who has been inthe restaurant industry for 16 years has given me knowledge throughout the years as to how service and timing of reservations inthe industry typically works. He was very shocked to hear that I knew exactly what time the kitchen closed and how far aheadfrom the kitchen closing time we were being told to get orders in. We will not be returning. Read more

Such a gem of a restaurant on the Main Line. We were treated like family and appreciated the attention we received. We literally... felt like VIPs. (No personal connection to the restaurant) The pork chop was delicious and the Bronzino was so flavorful. Thebeet salad was excellent with the perfect amount of dressing and flavor. Took home the blueberry tart a la mode. Wonderfulevening sitting outside. The staff works really hard to make sure everyone is happy. Can?t wait to go back. Reminder: BYOB !! Read more

Excellent dining experience. This was our first time dining here and we will definitely return; often. Lovely interior ( table... cloths, cloth napkins, spacious seating) and the nicest staff; warm, attentive but not fussy. Our appetizer of a Cesar saladwith prosciutto was delicious! My husband had mussels in a white sauce as his entree, and I had the flatbread special of theday; fig, and goat cheese. Perfect! The bread with ricotta cheese and seasoned olive oil preceded our dinner, so we ended up toofull to order dessert. You will not be disappointed in choosing to eat here. And, it is a BYOB which is an added plus. We can?twait to go back soon. Read more

???? Sontuosa - Bryn Mawr - Lovely al fresco dining tonight and my little dude got to watch trains go by. We had the grilled... calamari, meatballs, fresh bread with sweet fresh ricotta, chicken, Salmon, branzino, "aubergine" eggplant with ground lamband chocolate mousse layer cake and blueberry crumble. Our favorites were the chocolate layer cake and grilled calamari... sonice to see it prepared a different way besides fried. Mary Guzman and Ernesto Guzman are so welcoming and friendly as well. Very, very nice experience! We did a double date with some friends of ours at this small, wife and husband owned BYOB. The... atmosphere was rich in quality. You can smell the aromas of food as you walk up to the establishment. It is small, but thatadded to the experience for me! This is the only Sontuosa and I like finding restaurants that aren't franchised. The menu iscompact, which is great because you can focus on putting out quality products. I wish I took more pictures but being here andfilling your own cup as you had us laughing and enjoying each other's company! The wife and husband combo were so nice! Theymade sure to greet everyone as they walked in, personally checked in on people, and even honored my note that I requested beplaced in our friend's menu! Read more

First time to this BYO in Bryn Mawr. The service was very good and we had some nice conversations with the hostess, the waiter,... and the owner (he is a gem). Unfortunately the food was good, but unremarkable. Nothing overtly creative or unique that woulddifferentiate the preparation. The meatballs were lukewarm and needed some seasoning. The bread was likely from the localgrocery store. My pappardelle with shrimp and cauliflower was very good. My dessert with strawberries and whipped creaminfused with ginger was light and tasty. We will likely give them another try. This was a busy Saturday night where they hadto crowd the outdoor guests into the restaurant because of weather. Read more
