Great atmosphere. Excellent place to watch Philly sports game. Beer on tap is from their own brewery. Delicious BBQ. Must try... the smokehouse nachos with brisket. Our favorite side dish was the mac & cheese (you must try!). The smoke chicken was juicy andtender. Read more
Stopped for a post-hike lunch, and was not disappointed! Lawn jawn was so refreshing, the pulled pork sandwich was tender and... flavorful with a spicy kick that the crisp coleslaw balanced, and the collard greens side were a unique but tasty spin on aclassic. REALLY great BBQ. This place successfully fulfilled my cravings. Parking isn?t the easiest and the location is rather small but... the food is so good! Brews regularly change and they offer some good options. The Nachos with Pulled Pork is 20 out of 10. Ifyou crave some good BBQ, this is the place. Amazing food and beer! My husband and I stopped in this past weekend to take advantage of their weekend happy hour. We got the... pulled pork sandwich happy hour deal, which includes a pint, as well as their weekend special, which was a brisket dip. Theywere both incredible!! May 2021 Decent beer selection, I really enjoyed the lager. The brisket sandwich on potato roll was incredible, on par with... what I've had in Texas. Juicy, tender, and smoked just right, and the coleslaw was great, too. The nachos with brisket wereprobably the best I?ve had in a long time. So many flavors going on with the cheese, sauce, meat, beans, and peppers. Justperfect! The cobbler was just ordinary, though, and a little too runny and not worth $9. High quality food and drink, casual setting, professional service. My friend loves this place, so he invited me for a treat of... Burnt Tips (appetizer) and Baby Back Ribs (entree). The tips melt in your mouth, and the ribs were done perfectly -- tender andjuicy with a fantastic smoked flavor. Love the garnish of dill pickle slices and pickled onion, and tasty sauce dip. Recommendthe Hope ale on tap, which is brewed locally. All this served in a very casual and classy atmosphere by professional andcourteous staff. Read more
Let me start by saying the beer was really good. I went with two other people and all three of the beers I tasted were smooth... and easy to drink. The waiter was friendly and was able to offer up good suggestions for both food and drink. We got thebrisket mac and cheese, hot chicken sandwich, the Italian pork sandwich, and the special roast beef cheddar sandwich. All werepretty good, but not amazing. What knocks this to a 4-star is the pricing. A $16-$19 price range for an average sized sandwichshould come with chips or fries but it didn't. Read more
