Reviews for Bryce Canyon Pines in Bryce Canyon City, UT
Cute spot with lots of options. Got the turkey melt with fries and the tuna melt with sweet potato fries. Finished up with... cherry and peach pie slices a la mode. Service was friendly, fast, and so nice. Decor is perfect for the area and really set thetone for the whole experience. Highly recommended! Read more
After a beautiful sunrise view and a long morning walk in the park, we the hungry ones decided to get to this highly review... restaurant to skip the afternoon sun. We have the corn chowders (their soup of the day), fish & chip and fish burger, and also acouple of pies to share. Their pies were highly reviewed but have very limited selection for us, and so have to settle with anapple pie and a blueberry pie. First of all, the chowder was excellent, thigh soup with tons of ingredients, tasty and rich. The fish burger was not bad and the cod fish was a little tasteless. The fish & chip basically has the same battered fish pieceswithout the buns and garnish (and same price as the burger!). The pies was good overall. Apple pie was sweet and rich.Blueberry pie came with a tint of sourness which I preferred. Read more
Food is ok here. We stopped by after our adventure to Bryce Canyon. The cowboy decor theme is great. The server was good and we... received our food quickly. The halibut did not taste like a halibut, but then this place is far from the oceans so that wouldmake sense. Go for the porterhouse if you are hungry. Read more
Party of 3 went on a Sunday afternoon in April during the drive from Escalante to Vegas. I had the hot chocolate to start with -... pretty good! We shared the jumbo shrimp and zucchini stick appetizers. I had the French dip and loved it - the pot roast wasvery delicious. Friend had the fish and chips and they weren't great. Major reason I deducted two stars is because the waitresscame with the check at the end and asked us - do you want to do 20 or 22? Amidst the confusion, we just said 20, and she added a20% tip for herself. That was rude and unprofessional. If she'd just given us our slips, we would have added 15-18% anyway. Read more
Probably the best restaurant just outside of Bryce Canyon. We showed up 2 minutes before closing time (8pm) and they were... gracious enough to still seat us. Our food, the grilled chicken and trout, was tasty. Prices weren't cheap but the meal wasgood. On a Tuesday night, they were out of all the cream pies except for one. Service was pleasant. If they're open, go herewhen you're hungry near Bryce Canyon. Read more
A family restaurant near Bryce canyon. Very busy (15 min wait) can be longer. Come early or wait..it's worth it! Great service,... great food, and pie!! Cream and fresh berry pies! Big portions so be prepared to take some leftovers with you. We had thesampler plate, the rib eye eye and New York. The meat was undercooked for me, but great flavor, everyone cooks medium different.???? and you have your choice of several sides. Will be back to visit!! This was my 60th bday! Thank you for dinner! Came here because of the peach pie on the menu. Expected it to be super busy based on the live map overview, but it was mostly a... ghost town when we arrived. Staff was friendly, we were seated immediately and the food arrived promptly. Every condiment youcould ever want is on the table. Stoked on the corn chowder on the menu. That's so hard to find where I'm from. The burger wasgreat. Unfortunately they were out of peach, so i ordered sour cream raisin and apple pie. They were not my favorite, but wereokay. Pie is my favorite and I'm particular about them. That's a me thing, not a them thing. Overall it was a great experience.Would definitely stop by again if in the area. Read more
We tried out this place for dinner. For appetizers we had mozzeralla sticks and chicken wings. The wings were just fried chicken... with ranch on the side, no sauce. Then I also tried their veggie burger. Although the buns were soft, I didn't like the pattytoo much. It lacked flavors. The cream pies were delicious though. Must try the blueberry cream pie!
