Was in the mood for a good burger, and I had not tried Wayback before. This place did NOT disappoint. Very friendly service,... and everything was prepared fresh right after I ordered. I opted for the day's special, which was a double-bacon cheeseburgermeal. The burger was excellent, and the fries were 'out-crispy/salty-standing'. I even got some Cajun tots to go. I'mdefinitely putting Wayback in my lunch rotation now. 5-stars would recommend. They even have an app to order ahead. Read more
Tried this place a few times and each time was bad. Not very tasty and staff seems distraught. Last time I was here I placed an... order for pickup, 2 burgers and a chicken sandwhich. The chicken sandwhich was burnt, burnt black to charcoal. I returned to thestore and the owner was on site. He thought I was joking and then saw the food. He apologized and said my order would berefunded. It's been over a month and I haven't been refunded and the new chicken sandwhich was still over cooked but at leastedible. Read more
I've seen Wayback Burgers in a couple of places but decided to try it during our vacation in College Station. We ordered our... food online and picked it up at the designated time that was texted to us. By the time we received and ate our food, it wassoggy and fairly cold. We ordered a Cheesesteak, Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, Big Easy, and a Milkshake. For all of ourburgers and sandwiches, they were soggy. The trip home from Wayback Burgers is only 5 minutes, so we weren't in the car for thatlong. However, we did ordered and picked up our food 15-30 minutes before closing. As for the flavors, the Cheesesteak didn'ttaste much like a Philly Cheesesteak. It had more of a Sloppy Joe type-of-flavor. Additionally, the tomatoes fell out as soon asI unwrapped the packaging. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich wasn't spicy at all thus it isn't one of our favorite or decentNashville Hot Chicken Sandwich(es). We can't comment on the Big Easy or Milkshake since our friend ordered it, but he said itwas alright. Overall, I don't think I will be returning. If I do return, however, I would probably order their fries, and Iwould eat in the restaurant instead of picking up. I would not order the Cheesesteak or Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, though. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these burgers. The classic double with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and... grilled onions was super juicy and so delicious! I'd definitely recommend it to someone looking for a quick bite to eat. You canorder ahead of time to make for a quick pickup. Read more
