Additional Information
The course is in really good shape (12/21). The clubhouse is under construction. This is the second time it's been under... construction since I moved to the area. This means no bar, no food, porter potty restrooms. 5 stars when construction iscomplete and we can hangout and have some drinks after a round. Read more
Golf opportunities are limited in BCS. This course has a good, tough layout. The greens are consistently bad. They are full of... weeds and now big patches of dirt spray painted green. Now it's temp greens while they try to repair them. How is it that PecanLakes in Navasota went through the same harsh Winter and their greens are pristine. I don't get it. Revised review. This is nowthe best affordable golf course in B/CS. The greens are perfect and the course is improving weekly. Great job by the staff. Read more
I love this course and it is truly great for the price. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the BCS area. The one thing I... will say is I wish there was a way to schedule tee times other than over the phone such as through the website. Overall greatcourse! Read more
The waiters were nice, they just re-opened the indoor area since they suffered lots of damage from the winter storm. All of... their pipes burst so they have some limitations, however they still have most bottled drinks and they have draft beer. I'mlooking forward until they get back to what they were before the storm! Read more

For the price (especially as a student and walker) I had a good experience, a few things to note: the driving range is parallel... with the parking lot, if you hook it someone probably won't be driving home, but at least they put "Park at your own risk" signsup so you won't be liable for the damages if you do. I know most cars around here have hail damage so you probably wouldn'tnotice an errant shot or two but if you really care about your car, maybe park by the tennis courts. Some of the roughs arepretty narrow and well...."rough" and what's beyond the rough is just dirt, like dry lake bed kinda dirt. One of the bunkers haslike 1 cm of sand in it, swear you could probably hit a hybrid out of it, but the rest weren't too bad, hoping I don't spend toomuch time in the bunkers in the future anyways. Staff was friendly and booking a tee time was a breeze. I think my favorite partof the course was that most of the other golfers have just a bad of a slice as I do so I never felt like the worst one on thecourse even with a 32 handicap (hey I'm working on it, okay?). The greens were in really good shape but fast, like they'll makeyou wonder if your golf buddy sprayed your ball with WD-40 before you made that shot, this is not a bad thing though, some ofthe greens are so long you'd think your lob wedge would be a better choice than your putter. Oh and speaking of greens, there'sa pregnant cat (presumably an outdoor cat of one of the homeowners near the green on the 17th) that uses the bunker as herlitter box. And loves to walk through your putt line. Waste no time after you sink that shot though otherwise she might run youoff the green like she did to me. Overall the fact that this course is 1/4 the price as the A&M course, even for students, willkeep me coming back for the foreseeable future until my PGA debut. Read more
