I had the 1/4 pound cheese burger, and order of Tijuana Fries, and a cold Shiner on draft. Total + $2 tip came in at $19, so a... little on the high side. Burger was a little small, but overall, the meal was great and tasty! Great atmosphere too! Oh, if youhave a car low to the ground (like a sports car) , you may want to park across the street! The Chicken fried steak was ok. Not the best, but it was fresh, and the staff was friendly. Salad was ok. Fries were fresh! Will... come back again, and try something else on the menu for sure. Read more
Our friends took us here to try a local place. It was a bit disappointing that they didn't have a main ingredient for their... burger of the month and it was only the middle of the month. We also stopped by hours before they closed. Their fries wereunseasoned. We did enjoyed their fried pickles and I liked my Buffalo chicken sandwich. Read more
I?ve visited this place several times now, at different times of the day (throughout the year). I fail to see what the draw is... to this place. The area has much better places to get a decent meal, without waiting over an hour for them to ?call yourname?. Burgers and fries are decent, at best. Chicken fried steak is just a frozen patty dropped in the fryer. Not hand dippedor fresh. But hey, it?s mainly for college kids, right? Should people in college eat a lower quality? I think not. Old school burger and fries, Texas style. Chicken fried steaks, "death" burger, and plenty of fried sides. Inside is a mix of... neon and old western lodge findings. Outside is adorned with retro tin signage. Not to be missed! Read more
Really good food. Very recognized and unique feel to the place. They also have harder to find things like turkey burgers and... sweet potato fries which is great because my girlfriend likes those sort of things. The staff was busy keeping the food comingand the tables cleaned off. Very western old school feel to the place but welcoming to everyone. Read more
I love their food. But BEWARE , I have a 1 year old and got him chicken nuggets like I always do , and they were too crispy for... my son. He?s really picky , so I was peeling the breading off and thank god I was. We found a bone in a chicken nugget !!! Hecould have died if he ate that.
