An old church converted to a cafe. Beautiful decor and antique church items are present all over. Ambience is quite peaceful.... Good coffee and sandwiches. it's close to the C&O canal for a cup of coffee after a hike or bike. They have lovely deserts too.Seating is not like a usual restaurant but quite comfortable. Read more

Had such a fun time! Sorry to the staff for coming so close to closing, you were all wonderful! We got the thai chicken soup and... a turkey sandwich. Both were so tasty and great for the rainy day. We also got the apple cider which is great for anyone whodoes not like their cider particularly sweet. Beautiful building, and cute atmosphere, would love to go again! Read more

The place is very whimsical but cramped. The parking is pretty limited and there had to be a announcement when i was there that... people might be getting towed for parking in the one parking lot. The wait was not long we had ordered a couple and sandwhichsand chili. The food was good and the sandwhichs came with a little salad but none of the food was particularly great. The coffeewas actually really good I had gotten a red eye and like the coffees flavor, but they didn't have and sugar free sweeteneravalible when I was there. The iced tea was nice and got free refills as well. Now what really killed the experience for me wasthere was only one high chair to use for kids to eat and when we went in the place was crazy humid. It was proablly a goodtemperature in there but the humidity made it feel hot and uncomfortable. Read more

Has vegan milk options! The atmosphere and decor was really nice. Coffee was incredibly tasty as was the SNACKS! Staff was... super friendly and helpful with questions. Would recommend for cute coffee dates, friend hangouts, or study sessions. Read more

Slowest service, terrible coffee, and bad food. We ordered a toasted bagel and the quiche, after they had checked if there was... enough (there had been many quiche orders before mine). After 50 minutes, they told me told there wasn't any quiche left so Iordered a sandwich. After an hour wait total, we got our food. It didn't seem unusually busy for a Saturday but they wereprobably under staffed. In the mean time waiting for the food, I had to notify them twice their drip coffee was empty, and ittook about 10 minutes to replace. The coffee was so bad I needed to add honey and cream to it so it would taste like something(I usually drink it black). We also ordered an espresso that tasted like the previous drink that was made, some gingerbreadspiced thing. Poor care with their coffee all around. My sandwich was soggy and did not have much filling. The interior of thebuilding was kind of cute. Read more

Beautiful coffee shop! It was a church in the past. Still has the stained glass windows. All original. The food and pastries are... delicious. The coffee was amazing. Just a little nook. It felt like the friends coffee shop. Loved it! Read more

What great coffee house/bistro. Wonderful unique ambiance. The best washrooms I have seen in a long time. Wonderful friendly... staff. I would seriously consider driving 30 miles for a coffee here than 1 mile to the S%&(#@$^k's in my local area. Read more
