Time for Mexican food at the El Rodeo in Brunswick Maine. The atmosphere feels Mexican. Fun, relaxing, causal. Excellent food.... Our waiter spoke more Spanish than English which made it more like an authentic experience and fun. Another waiter came andverified a couple of our requests, so no issues. Come and have fun in this exciting Mexican restaurant. Read more

We love Mexican food and the prospect of finding food with any flavor in Maine is not good, but this place delivered! Not the... level of spiciness we are used to, but very good blends of flavors and great presentation. From the salsa and chips to eachentree we enjoyed every bite. Our son got a beef burrito that was huge. He has a good-sized appetite and brought about 1/3 of ithome and happily had it for a snack the next day. I got 2 chicken enchiladas. They were on the small side, but full of flavorand I don't think I could have eaten any more. I can't remember what hubby got but I do remember him saying it was very good andhe, too, was comfortably full. The staff was attentive and seemed happy to serve, but there was a language barrier. We gotaround it just fine. Read more

My fajitas were tiny little giblets of chicken, not large succulent pieces, like i was given the bottom dregs of a marinade bag.... They were brought out to me luke warm which is funny since the menu read "sizzling fajitas". Thus, i cannot give el rodeo fivestars. The ambience was warm and inviting, the decorations vibrant and bright, and the staff was freindly and attentive. Myparty all did build your own burritos and enjoyed their food, salvaging their poor showing on my fajitas. I would return to givethem a second chance. Read more

This is a great place to get some excellent Authentic Mexican food, with a well balanced menu. Often when going to a Authentic... Mexican restaurant you get stuck with mostly spicy foods, but not a El Rodeo. They have plenty on the the spicy side, whilestill having lots of options for those who can?t eat spicy foods. Prices vary but there?s options for every patrons budget, staff a really friendly and eager to assist. Portion sizes in comparison to the price is generously large, definitely a goodbang for the buck. Now with us being in the mist of a Pandemic, hygiene is on a lot of our minds. As the saying goes if youwant to know wether hygiene is a priority at an establishment check the restrooms. El Rodeo restrooms are spotless, therestaurant feels roomie and is kept clean. Definitely one of my first pick more often than not when eating out. I do wish thehad delivery available. Read more

This close to the coast a lot of folks would opt for a lobster place. The giant margaritas were featured at the entrance, but... the food is solid and has good variety for a place this far north. Nice big patio, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Read more

Tried El Rodeo on a whim for lunch on a Saturday. We were the only ones in the restaurant. They successfully transformed the... old Pizza Hut to a south of the US border hideaway. Waitstaff were attentive. Sadly lunch specials aren't available on weekends. Have Vegetarian fajitas which were perfect. My husband had a beef filled burrito which was filled with flavorful meat. Will goback. Read more
