If I could give 10 stars I would. I have been wanting to go to this restaurant for a long time and I finally got the chance to.... The wait was well worth it as it is the best burger that I have had in years. The employees were exhausted as it was just aboutclosing time, but they were very kind, friendly and wore perfect smiles. The atmosphere is very welcoming and remind you of anolder diner. The place was very clean and the prices on the menu were very pocket friendly. Thank you all for an amazingexperience in your diner! From servers to the BBQ this establishment is in my personal opinion one of the best that Brunswick GA has to offer. I have... personally been eating at Twin Oaks since I can't remember, I was just simply too young to remember. However, I can rememberwhen Twin Oaks stood out for me, as I am 37 years old and the oldest memory for me is when I was about 7 years old and havingthe best BBQ and double battered fries ever. I have never been here and not ordered the Jumbo BBQ sandwich and a large order offries with a large sweet tea. I have not tasted another meal on the menu ever. Brunswick Stew is great but wow a bowl is only 4 oz! Cant imagine how many ounces are in a cup. I got a to go order and was... shocked when we sat down to eat. Fortunately my husband's meal was plenty of food for him to share. Love the pull pork BBQsandwich and fries. Read more
While visiting Saint Simons and Jeckle I decided to have fun with a "Brunswick Stew Challenge" in Brunswick GA. I only had time... to try 2 recommendations from the Saint Simon's visitor center (see my profile for review of 1st stew). This was the 2nd and Ihad to bring it home to eat the next day. I'm GA raised and love all kinds of Brunswick stews. I judge places on if theirstews need help with bbq sauce or not. This stew does not need any help :) This stew is spicy and sweet with huge chunks ofveggies. I dare say it could have used a little more meats, and the dominant veggie was sweet peas (most likely from can) whichwas a little much in my opinion. I look forward to re-challenging the stews of Brunswick the next time I visit. I also lookforward to enjoying some BBQ from here. The prices are great and the quality looks pretty good according to the other reviews. Read more
