Reviews for IHOP in Brownsville, TX
I like breakfast at IHOP. But I ordered the steak tip breakfast today on favor delivery. Yuk! It tasted like a super sweet beef... jerky. These steak tips with mushrooms and onions should have tasted like steak! You dropped the ball on this dish! Make itsavory and decadent! Sweet meat? Tragic! And I'd recommend adding a side order of sour cream condiment without asking! In thisday of inflation, step up and use common sense!! Stop being big box retail chain and do once again what made you a nationalchain of restaurants! Read more
The place was pretty full but we didn't have to wait too long to get a table. The waiter was very nice and it didn't take long... for the food to arrive. I was pleasantly surprised about this because most IHOPs are not as efficient as this one. Read more
Food is delicious, and the staff is very friendly. My sons love coming here.
Worse pancakes ever . And when manager came up to see what was wrong . I told her about them and she asked me did you eat them... . Duh I was hungry . Very defensive and with an attitude on her part saying it was the pancake mix. Read more
Ordered a side of Broccoli, didn?t know the side only comes with three. Service was slow, no refills. Over cooked food.... Management needs to step it up! Read more
The Cali roasted melt sandwich was ok?. They did exaggerated in the mayo, it would?ve been a little better with not to much, and... the burger for my son took forever to get there, he was the first one to order because he was super hungry and was the last toget his food after everyone?s else was served and probably 15 min after he got his burger, so that?s the time I waited to startmy dinner with him, the waitress was helpful, she did ok, I just know something went wrong in the kitchen, overall theexperience was nice, we enjoyed ourselves, that?s what we always try, to make sure the experience is about enjoying and tastingevery plate and talk about which plate was the best of all. Reliable fast food breakfast place. I have been going to IHOP since i was a kid and the roofline was a distinctive blue peak... like those you would see in a Swiss mountain chalet. Food was normal as to be expected. Good service from bilingual servers whospeak Spanish and English. Portions are reasonable but not above average like the old days when things were bigger but theysufficed. I had pancakes and eggs with bacon and coffee. My partners had gluten friendly ones with some blueberry topping andthe other had a big omelette with hashbrowns. Everything was good but if you need big portions you will need to order extrasides. Place was relatively clean. Read more
