The interior of this restaurant is pretty spacious. We were very confused by the multiple menus and large variety of... choices. I think the restaurant is trying to cater to too many demographics. Which produces food that is somewhat different. Nice place for hong style afternoon cafe foods. We had the soups (laksa), a HK style french toast and the baked fried rice with... pork and they were delicious. Don't forget to get some HK milk tea or the usual lemon tea for drinks (they have a big list andbubble teas). Overall good experience. Read more

Their fried chicken is good. I really like the fact that you can customize your dishes. They have little robots that bring you... the plates. A good point is the milk tea is unsweetened so you can add sugar yourself. One downside, that vegetable side is froma frozen mix, this is a bit disappointing. First time came here . The noodle soup was tasty! Unfortunately there was one piece of meat didn?t cook well. That?s why I paid... tips by cash around 7% . But the waitress was not happy with that and told me that : minimum 15% tips. It?s obligated. Well, Ipaid and didn?t say anything. Deer Garden offers a wide range of dishes. You get to mix and match your soup, noodles and toppings to your own likings. Not... only do that, but they also serve a wide range of HK style meals. The price is not too bad for the portions they give and theflavours are decent. However, the side dishes are rather expensive for very little they give. The service furthermore is onlyaverage. Even though we were 4, 3 of us got served within 15 mins and the last bowl only arrived after all 3 of us finishedeating. Read more

Honestly the best curry dish I've had in a very long time. That pork cutlet sitting on top of the curry, potatoes, red peppers... and onions stay nice and crispy on the outside and moist inside. The meal comes with a choice of Hong Kong style hot or colddrink for an additional dollar. I highly recommend this dish. And I'm looking forward to trying out more items on the menu. The restaurant is located at place portobello it has an entrance from outside. The staff was friendly, the dining room was... clean, and the food was very good. The portions are also good. I recommend it. Parking is not an issue. Read more
