Their pies are good. But they have started charging $1.50 extra when you buy 3+1. Also, a couple of them behind the counter do... not know what a Rye bread is. Read more
Love the bread is tasty .. the patisserie is very good. I went on mai 30th. And the service was good. This place on mall... Champlain is big.. The only thing is they have to be careful with the cleaning.... the were dusty on the glass where the foodare. Read more
First, understand that running successful pastry retail stores in Montreal is extremely hard. In a French culture, competition... in quality pastries is insane, yet the spending power isn't that great either. Ange has done very well at surviving with greatquality. I'm from Toronto, been to 2 locations of Ange in QC including this one, they are amazing. Nice variety of pastries andbread selections. I would say the bread section isn't large as Premiere Moisson, but it's great enough. Haven't tried theirpizza yet. I had their quiche, tarts, cakes, all fresh and great quality. Read more

NEW UPDATE: Went by this morning and there were flies buzzing around all over the food and pastries.. UPDATE: More often than... not when I pass by here I leave with nothing as either the line is too long (and confusingly split) or the staff are talkingamongst themselves and not serving me. The other day I waited in line, as the only person in line, and the two guys at thecounter just talked to each other then left leaving me to wait there. Again, delicious food and reasonable pricing, justterrible waiting around. Passed by again recently and there was like a dozen people working yet somehow only serving a handfulof people while a lineup was forming, shouting back and forth, again it wasn't worth the wait for all the confusion and busymess happening. This place is delicious, and the pricing is very reasonable, but the wait times are why I mark it downlower. This place is often more busy than Google Maps displays, and most times unless I arrive around opening or closing then Iam left waiting outside for several minutes or longer. The first time I went I had to wait outside, then when I got inside theline was a very confusing system with a broken number taking system. I had to be informed after waiting a while that I couldjust skip over to the baked goods I wanted and have bought them and left much sooner, but it was all very unclear. Read more
