Amazing staff, ambience, decor and of course, delictable pasta! We had such a relaxed time. The waitstaff was superb,... recommending wine that paired well with our dishes as well as personal taste. It is truly authentic Italian food, notAmericanized. We ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana and the Pear Ravioli. Amazing!! The puff pastries were excellent, not overlysweet but definitely worth sharing! Loved the cutout of Italy on the serving board as well. They have the knack forsophistication of using simplicity to their advantage, which only highlights their success! 10/10 Recommend! -Also, this wastheir new location of Melody and 120th ave. Food: Mixed bag. Caesar salads were tasty (aside from having tomatoes added). My Italian sausage pasta had very good sausage,... decent pasta, but the sauce felt like Chef Boyardee. On the other hand, someone in our party had one of the gnocchi dishes, andraved over it. Drink: Good wine list, including some reasonably priced bottles. Some cocktails, but the ingredient list waslimited. Service: Service was friendly but spotty. Took ten minutes to get some butter to go with the (tasty) bread, ratherthan the olive oil. Some dishes were cleared quickly, others took a while. Ambience: Both the restaurant and the staff had anupscale vibe on the inside. The exterior, though, doesn't impress (except by how full the parking lot was on an early Saturdayevening). Overall: Wish I could give a 3.5. I'd return here again if our friends wanted to, but I'm not sure I'd pick it bychoice. Read more

Lovely restaurant and simply delicious food. The restaurant is well decorated for an inviting atmosphere, cozy intimate seating... with several outdoor enclosed seating areas to choose from.Waitress was well versed in the gluten-free options and gave severalrecommendations and provided an adjustment to the desert menu. For starters the Caprese was light , fresh and a compliment tothe fettuccine alfredo with broccoli and chicken. Dessert was the strawberry panna cotta with crushed walnuts only (granola isnot gluten-free) and the profiterole (not gluten-free). Beautifully served dishes and the gluten-free pasta was perfectlyperpared. An absolutely delicious meal and many compliments to the team for such a pleasant experience. Read more

I have always loved the caprese salad at @scalzotto_restaurant it’s very cute served on a board shaped like Italy. The lasagna... was also very good. I believe it was made with fresh pasta. Read more

GLUTEN FREE PEOPLE BEWARE!! So I called in for a to go order and during ordering had a question of how the gluten free spaghetti... and meatballs were made since usually the meatballs contain breadcrumbs. The woman on the phone assured me they were gluten freeand only meat. After picking up and eating at home, I tasted a bread like taste from the meatballs. I called back and talked toa manager. They said there WAS breadcrumbs in the meatballs and that the woman was wrong. I asked why it was listed under glutenfree pastas and he nonchalantly said it was because they can substitute gluten free pasta in it. I explained that’s not howthat works and that people usually need the whole dish gluten free if it’s listed in the gluten free section. He ignored meand said he would try to refund part of my order. I also found long and short spaghetti noodles in my dish. Hoping I don’t getsick from this but the manager could care less about the situation. Would NOT recommend this place. Stay away!! Read more

So we went to try this place based on a recommendation from a person we met at verizon. She told me this was by far the best... place for italian food that she has tried in colorado but my was she wrong. This was by far the most aweful italian food i havetried. The calamari was ok it wasnt bad for sure and it was the best part of my meal since my lasagna tasted nothing likelasagna. The lasagna made by stouffers in the frozen food aisle tasted way better than theirs. Their lasagna tasted all mushyand like it was one whole piece with no layers of pasta just mushy meatballs is what it tasted like. The spaghetti was reallyweird with huge thick noodles and flavor was off. My 2 friends said theirs wasnt bad but had a stomach ache when they got home. The only reason i gave this place 2 stars instead of one is because for some reason my son said this place had the best chickenalfredo that he has tried and he actually ate all his food this time and that is rare so i give them that. I wouldnt go hereagain for sure and if i did it would be to order chicken alfredo to go for my son other than that the rest of the food wassubpar. Read more

We enjoyed the stuffed zucchini flowers with vodka sauce for appetizers. The pear ravioli was Soo good, little bundles filled... with ricotta, and potato. Served with pear puree and an Alfredo type sauce. Delicious! Other diners had Bolognese fettuccine, gnocchi with pesto sauce, and chicken piccata. Everyone loved their food! Read more
