If you're looking for a great authentic place to get Mexican food then this is the place to eat. On Friday nights after 6pm... they have a live Mariachi band that does a great job and will come to your table and ask you if you want a special songsung. Family coming together for the first time, we all enjoy the food, the drinks,the hospitality, the clean and lovely environment!... Absolutely amazing food! We came on an extremely busy night. They were short staffed and dealing with an influx of customers.... Even with the wait, the staff was friendly and our waitress was working very hard to take care of everyone. They kept our chipsand salad full while we waited and that was very appreciated! I ordered the Texas Pelusa and it was crazy good. One of the bestmeals I?ve eaten at a restaurant. My kids all cleaned their plates and I can?t tell you how rare that is. Stopped here right off of the interstate and let me say I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent Molcojete and Cocktail de Camaron.... The flavors were awesome. A buddy and I came here for the first time. It is close to my work. We were seated quickly. The waitress came and took our order... and the the food came fairly quickly. Food was excellent and ample portion. Price was fair and the atmosphere was nice. I gaveit 5 stars based on those points. Downside my waitress wasn't as attentive as I would like, but to give her the benefit of thedoubt she looked rather busy. All in all, I will be returning here to try more of their cuisine. Read more
I?ve got to say, as far as Mexican restaurants go, this place is awesome. In many ways it is similar to Del Carmen in Dade city,... and actually better in some ways. The food was delayed a bit due to a full restaurant but it was plated well, delicious, andabout as authentic as you can get when you?re in Florida. I had the Torta with chorizo, others ordered tacos, and the alambre.It was all really tasty. Also, we checked out the little store attached to the restaurant and they had many things direct fromMexico that you simply don?t find elsewhere.
