This place is very good! Bar food on steroids! The menu is unique and on point! We started with the duck breast wontons! Those... alone are worth the trip. Then that spicy dipping sauce oh yeah. The Wife ordered the wrangler burger loved it! I had thecatfish it was really good it was served on top of a bed of fried rice had a really good corn avocado sauce. We also had friesthey were so crispy and good nothing like fries from other places. The vibe was chill pull tabs available too. Server wasknowledgeable. Love going to this place! They recently updated their menu which was already amazing. The new menu items are so delicious with... additional salmon options. All of the bartender are awesome, too be honest. (Jack pictured) Let's not forget that awesome ALLDAY HAPPY HOUR! YESSSSS! Who does that? Mc Tap House does, that's who! Many people don't know but McTap House servesBreakfast until 2pm daily. I usually order the sampler with the awesome gouda cheese hashbrowns, they are so DELICIOUS. Get thebacon, the sausage is yuck. To spice things up I add veggies to my eggs. (Picture attached) The old menu. My favorite items areBacon Wrapped Prawns, Mussels, The Wedge & Chopped Salads, Prime Rib French Dip, Italian Ribeye Grinder, Turkey Club, and theAMAZING Beignets! Yes, Beignets as in New Orleans. The CornChowder is delish, add jalapeños cornbread to it for another delightful treat. The Rigatoni with Andouille sausage is alsogood. Shrimp gnocchi pesto pasta dish had watered down sauce. Margherita flatbread was very salty and the chicken lime salad grilled... chicken was dry. Food presentation on point but the entree was very disappointing. Read more
The ingredients are fresh and plentiful. We had the pork spring rolls and the duck wontons. The spring rolls were underwhelming... but an interesting unorthodox idea. The wontons were amazing and filled with a great mix of veggies as well. The sauce for bothof them were amazing and had me wondering how to recreate it in my kitchen but I don't think I'll be able to Crack it. My coworkers told me about this new restaurant and I decided to try it during lunch. I had the walleye sandwich and it was... delicious. This is probably one of the best fish sandwich I've had in the north metro. The fries was nothing special. Theservice was fast and good. Definitely will come back to try other foods. Read more
Beautiful food first off. It's got that family sports bar feel, but that fine dining selection. Had the Mango... lemonade...awesome. The Truffle pasta dish exquisite. I mean we ate, pot stickers, pretzels ..and there is more on this menu mypocketbook wouldn't allow. Took the desert home and I think my neighbors knew, so I had to sneak my raspberry Truffle throughthe back. Read more
