On recommendation from the clerk, I ordered the vegetarian cup which was tasty if a bit too sweet for me. $8.71 + $1 tip. It... was the size of a medium sized soup cup. We are SO excited to have found this place yesterday on Caviar. We stopped ordering sushi to go in Brooklyn because the quality... never met our expectations - we have been to some of the best sushi spots in NYC. I ordered over $100 of sushi last night bcthe menu was excellent and they had such great reviews. Everything was packaged perfectly and so delicious. We will definitelybe ordering from here again. As a repeat customer, I order the kani or spicy salmon cup. The way they do the sushi rice is sooo good plus the kewpie mayo... just tops it off.The food here is actually great but it has no chic ambience. Casual spot for a light meal. Just ordered off door dash and man the food is unbelievably amazing! The andromeda crispy rice is super crispy and flavorful on... the outside while not compromising the soft and chewy texture of the rice on the inside!! This is the best Sushi Place I?ve been to in Brooklyn (and believe me there are a lot of great places). Their special sushis... like the Spider Roll, the Nebula rolls are delicious but what took the crown for me the the Andromeda Crispy Roll, it is anabsolute MUST. In terms of desert, they also exceed expectations, the crepes there are as delicious as they look in thepictures. Of course the location could be better, but Yugen is deffinitly worth the try if you want to eat somewhere after aparty or if you are just hanging out with friends! Read more
