So I'm giving 3 stars because the music was great and the service was nice. I really hate giving anything but good reviews to... black owned businesses but I truly have no choice this time. So we got there around 8:30 and we ordered our food around 9pm wedid not get our food until 10pm. I was so disappointed like I have been here before and the food was really good. This time itwas a huge disappointment. So my girls ordered the salmon and all the time we waited for the Salmon to come out it was dryyyyy. I mean so over cooked that you can pick it up with a fork and it didn't crumble. The peas and rice were dry and flavourless. Theplantations were burnt. I understand cooking it so that they are not so soggy but they were burnt. Anyway not trying to drag itbut I felt they could have at least offered us a drink or to remove the Salmon since they saw one of my daughters did not eat itnor did she ask for it to go. The food was cool but honestly it?s not even worth it with the bad customer service. Waited almost an hour for our food. The... pricing on the menu is different from what we were charged. You can?t even get your steak or eggs cooked to your liking. Theymake the steak the way they want and you have to get eggs scrambled. I?m always stuffed & satisfied when I visit! Our servers are always positive, proactive, pleasant & give amazing... recommendations. My seafood is always meaty, has that fantastic seared layer and is topped with veggies that made it mouthwatering. My favorite is the seafood boil, omgness... it was finger licking good! The place is small but spacious enough havingan indoor and outdoor seating experience. The food was mediocre. I ordered curry goat with white rice. I grew up in Brixton, south west London so I know what good... Jamaican food tastes like. On top of that, there was a woman and a man yelling in the restaurant all throughout their meal aboutwhere they come from as African Americans. I asked the staff to tell them to be quiet but they just kept on going and disturbedmy mediocre dinner. Awful scenes. Read more
