Lucky to have a place like this. The aroma is transformative, takes me back to my childhood visiting my grandparents in Europe,... buying fresh bread from the village bakery. Everything on the menu is undoubtedly delicious. The aesthetic of this place isworth experiencing and writing home about. Everything is good? It?s only a take out window and menu has a schedule so it needsgood planning and patience, but we?ll worth it. There are some outdoor seats and tables. The lines are often long, however itmoves smoothly and it?s a great opportunity to take in the essence of this fantastic Brooklyn bakery. My favorite is thesourdough bread! Read more

Winner has been on my bucket list for a while after I read an article about the Top 10 cookies in NYC which highlighted their... Peanut Butter Cookie. We visited after our lunch around 3pm on a weekend and felt disappointed that most of the pastries weresold out. Luckily, we still got what we aimed for, which was the PB Cookie and Chocolate Chip Cookie. Both cookies were decentbut not the best in our opinions. We preferred the crunchy PB cookie and it tasted like Peanut Brittle, a traditional snack forlunar new year. Read more

Brioche egg sandwich was very good, rich, and decadent. Almost a bit too heavy and some brightness or crunch could have... helped The fried chicken sandwich is for someone who lines bread more than chicken. The bread was excellent and one of thebest sour doughs I've had. The cutlet feels like it's from a mass produced, frozen pack. Pickled veggies in the sandwich wasgood You'll enjoy both. I'm just picky Read more

Was not a big fan of the coffee cake, though maybe I should have anticipated their "take" on a familiar pastry I was expecting... and used to. Not a lot of distinction flavour wise between the crumble and cake, just a different, more caramelized texture.4.50$ Read more

The bread is king here. They bake and sell specific breads on a schedule posted on the board. You can treat it like a bakery -... and bring home a delicious baguette or breakfast monkey bread. Or pick up breakfast or lunch altogether. Love the shakshuka, fried chicken sandwich, vegetarian banh mi. The bread is so good that I end up eating the crust. I never eat the crust onsandwiches! Best bakery in Brooklyn! And I do not say that lightly. Have had nearly everything on the menu and their quality is truly... exceptional. The chocolate chip cookie, monkey bread and cinnamon roll will satisfy your sweet tooth and you must try theirsourdough loaf. Their staff is also super sweet and they?re always giving out homemade dog treats. Read more
