I don't get where the good reviews come from , or maybe people who like this place haven't experience real Korean food before... or real internacional food . Maybe it's the hype because it's so small and cozy restaurant. I ordered the " Seoul Beef Bulgogi "and it was extremely salty . No flavor just salt ! For a $30 dish I was extremely surprised . Not cohesive at all . Luckily thewaiter was really understanding and let me pick something else, because different from some people who complaint here , no youdon't have to eat overly salty expensive food in Brooklyn restaurants . Then I ordered for the second time the " wellreviewed "Jaeyook Gnocchi" : ok it wasn't as bad as the " Seoul Beef Bulgogi" but the dish tasted generic , the gnocchi tastedlike something u could definitely buy from the Trader Joe's frozen gnocchi collection , mix with some veggies and Asian sauce. My partner also had a hard time eating his a type of ramen dish . He didn't not finish Such a waste of money !!!!!!!!!! Read more

**Beware not a welcoming place if you have kids** We come to white tiger at least twice a month. My daughter wanted to have her... birthday dinner at White Tiger this year. She absolutely loves their noodles. We arrived at 5:20 and we're barely greeted itseem like we were an inconvenience the staff were eating at the bar deep into a conversation But we understood they had justopened so we just were excited to order and have dinner. The food was great the service however was absolutely horrible. At onepoint the manager or the owner I'm not sure who she is I think she's the owner came over and screamed at us. Apparently ourdaughter spit in the garbage can. When she came over she had our daughter by the shoulders. We of course apologized However sheproceeded to go on and on and on about it in a very condescending way. I was shocked one because we're paying customers thatcome frequent. Yet she still continued to yell at us about our daughter. She just turned 4.. I should also add that they satone person next to us in a very tight area when there were many other open tables so he was able to hear everything that washappening. It was extremely rude and embarrassing. We felt like we were not welcomed at all. After she yelled at us she thenproceeded to greet the single man sitting by himself and tell him always so good to see you how are you doing? It was quite oddto be honest with you she went from one extreme to the other and completely ignore the fact that we were a family celebratingour daughter's birthday. Complete horrible service! I honestly wanted to cry. After we were yelled at, we quickly asked forthe check. We couldn't find our server anywhere so we asked another one. About 10 minutes later our server came back with theelectronic check out device (she claimed that the receipts weren't working) which is awkward because it leaves me no otherchoice but to tip 25% or 20%. And of course we still tipped well even though we barely had any service at al Read more

We were lucky to get a table at the party here on a Saturday night. Fantastic service, a buzzing atmosphere, and comfy dining... complement a range of dazzling dishes, including vegetarian and meaty. Sizzling hot sticky rice, BBQ eel, zangy edamame, delicious fries, and crisp, clean Soju to wash it all down. Generous, friendly, smart owner welcoming all and giving context tothe fun. Certainly one of the fun spots on Vanderbilt and a must-try among for foodies coming to the area. Read more

The food and drink were great and our server Sylvia was the best! She recommended some of her favorite menu items including the... frozen cocktail (served in a korean soda can!) and the jaeyook gnocchi! We also got the curry popcorn, kimchi fries, and chickenbites to share. The sauces are delicious, especially the spicy chili aioli. Definitely returning to try their other largeplates! Read more

Every dish I’ve tried at White Tiger I’ve absolutely loved! This time around was a post-Brooklyn Half Marathon celebration,... so we went all out with the protein and carbs. It was wonderful, and being outdoors didn’t hurt. Read more
