SO GOOD. Food was amazing 11/10. This drink was phenomenal. The server was so chill and helpful and created a great vibe for us... even tho we were asking lots of questions :) also the bathroom has a little disco ball like how cute. We got a reservation, butthis definitely seems like a place you could snag a spot at the bar to eat too! Read more

We have been intrigued for some time by the place to which there are queues to enter. Passing by accident, we entered and we... were immediately seated at the bar, because we would have to wait almost an hour for a table. The interior is rather modest butelegant. Lots of tables close together. We ordered 2 different Menu items from the Noodle & Rice section. Very fast and friendlyservice. Food excellent. It is worth a try. It's best to make a reservation in advance. Read more

Really wanted to give this all 5 stars but maybe we didn’t order the right dishes. Food was good but nothing that wowed... me. Ambiance was really cute! Drinks were great and service was good as well! We had a good experience so I would come againto try other dishes. Read more

Some of my friends recommended this restaurant but it’s not even good. We ordered daily limited fried while chicken costed us... 55ish and it was so though and chewy. I know some people like it chewy, but most Asian restaurant cook chicken in a juicy way.We also ordered you fan, and it was so salty that we couldn’t taste other flavor it supposed to have. Shrimp floss lettucecup, it is supposed to use the lettuce to carry the shrimp floss, but lettuce is so small and make it so difficult to do so. Andit didn’t taste good. I would say numbing celtuce salad is the best among the whole order, but just among the whole order. Ohno, Beef noodle soup, is actually ok. It’s nothing to do with the authenticity, it’s just not taste good. Ps. The shortageof Taiwanese beer even make it worse… Read more

On the front page of its website, the team at Wenwen states that they aim to bring “the comfort and flavors of the Taiwanese... household to Greenpoint.” During my time dining there, one can only conclude that they succeeded with flying colors.Flavorful, well seasoned dishes arrived at our table, composed from a broad swath of ingredients and boasting a wide spectrum offlavors. The seasoning on the pickled cucumber salad was immaculately balanced, and the combination of cool, refreshing, andspicy was the perfect start to our meal. Crispy popcorn chicken and fried tofu were next, each served with complex sauces andthick dustings of seasonings. For our main courses we ordered fried rice and the 886 noodle, which were salty and delicious, layered with deep and unctuous flavors and punctuated by bright vegetables and aromatics. The favorite dish of the night mayhave been the pea shoots with tofu skin. The clean, delicate flavor of the peas shone through, warmed with the flavors from theoil and garlic and perfectly complimented by silky tofu skins. Definitely don’t skip this one. Eating at Wenwen was anabsolute delight, and I cannot wait to return to sample more offerings from this talented and dedicated team. Read more
