A lovely family-run restaurant, the service was excellent! We got the oysters and the prawns appetizers. The oysters were very... tasty, I thought there was a bit too much breading, which made the stuffing a little dry. The prawns were perfectly cooked andnicely seasoned, the aioli was creamy and rich. The fregula was cooked al dente, the lamb was delicious, the branzino was thestar of our dinner, the skin was so crispy and well spiced, the fish so tender, and the veggies had a nice flavor. Incredible dinner! The restaurant and outdoor dining space are so inviting and warm. The small plates/appetizers were... scrumptious and I loved my entree (cauliflower!). Interesting selections of wine that we didn’t recognize, but our serverpatiently described each one and recommended a glass for each of us. Would love to come back and sit inside next time. Read more
Scrumptious food, exceptional staff and an astonishing all-natural wine list. We were seated five minutes before the kitchen... closed but still managed to delight in half the menu, washed down with a lovely bottle of wine recommended by a watchful andintuitive sommelier. We finally made the trip out to BK to try Victor after hearing great things about it from a friend and we did not leave... disappointed! It was awesome - we had an excellent experience and highly recommend. Our server (I think her name was Marnie) wasamazing! • I got the cauliflower entree (insanely good - highly recommend - and I’m not even veggie or a big cauliperson) • Husband got the porkchop special (fantastic) • apps were paprika prawns (INSANE - so good) and mackerel tartare(ALSO INSANE! So good!) • we also both got the basque cheesecake for dessert and it was delicious I just forgot to snap a pic(FYI it’s a little on the eggier side for cheesecakes for those sensitive to egg) • husband got a glass of cesanese(YUM) • I got a glass of gaglioppo (funky and delicious - no sulfites and served chilled - great for outdoor dining and thosesensitive to headaches) Can’t wait to return!
