Nice atmosphere for a more upscale dairy restaurant. Gets very busy so make reservations. Pizzas are really interesting-... different toppings and combinations. We had one with Alfredo sauce. Special was black bass and it was delicious. Menu is new- nosushi anymore. Read more
We took my mother out for her birthday here and it was amazing! We were a bit skeptical after seeing mixed reviews but decided... to give it a go. It was soooo worth it. One of my top favourite milchig restaurants. Highly recommend the following: SpinachRicotta Rosettes, Gnocchi Pesto, Pesto Artichoke Garganelli, and the Chocolate Bourbon Pudding. It?s ok. We had the Rimini Pizza, which tasted like mushroom pizza from any pizza store anywhere, and the Tagliatelle Formage... which was bland and didn?t actually taste like anything. This is by far OUR FAVORITE milchigs restaurant in New York. Located in the heart of Brooklyn, Urbana has THE perfect ambiance... for an eloquent, fun and tasty meal. Perfect for a party or a romantic date with your significant other. The staff is super kindand even when all the seats are taken (which they are because this place is packed with folks every night) they magically getyou a table really soon. Which leads my review to the food. They have some of the best fish and pastas you have ever tasted.Urbana is known for their delicious sushi and we were not let down. The pizza is perfect for the kids (and the adults). Warning:the coffee, milkshakes and desserts are addicting. Consider yourself warned. Big thank you to Urbana! Excellent food, ambiance and service. Everything you could ask for and more. Usually motse Shabbat... restaurants are not really operating on all cylinders or at least that is how it feels oftentimes... but they never let us seethem sweat tonight! We showed up, myself, my husband and 5 kids varying in age from 19 to 9 and not only did they get us a greattable in a cozy nook but the wait was only like 15 minutes on a very busy Saturday night. They were very accommodating with ourvarious requests even though they warned us it would mean that we would have to forgive the presentation, (which was still quitebeautiful despite our various requests). The food was delicious, perfectly executed and really imaginative and no one left without a smile on their face. Thank you Dimitri and to the kind, patient, professional manager! You guys made our night! Really aclass act! We recently did a private event there for 30 people. The service and food were excellent! Chef Mendy was so helpful letting us... make a menu for our guests that worked within our budget, and Mr. Taj was on top of everything, from setting up the decor tobeing in touch with me prior to event while making sure it all flowed nicely.
