I came here with a friend and we tried a lot of apps and shared an entree. every single thing I had was good. I really enjoyed... the curds and the tartare. The lamb was especially delicious! The portions were bigger than I expected. The ambiance of theplace is good for a special night out. I don’t think I’d come here as casually. Amazing food and vibes! Great service too! We got the fried chickpeas, beef tartare, fried cheese curds and the lamb sirloin!... Everything was absolutely delicious but the tartare I could eat by the spoonful ???? (good portion size too). The lamb sirloinwas only about 8oz but was the best lamb steak I’ve had in a while. A tip is to ask for the homemade fermented chilli sauce???????? which you should douse the cheese curds in (much better than the very sweet sauce they serve it with). The food is delicious, the staff is pleasant and professional. The portion sizes are all over the place for the price. We... ordered the marinated lamb sirloin and for $30+ it was barely enough for one person. On the other hand, the whole grilled bass,which was also $30+ was enough to feed three people. The cheese curds were about as delicious as I've ever had; having grown upin the Midwest, I really wanted some potatoey and gravy on them though! We also ordered the calamari and it was very good aswell, though touted as having shawarma seasoning on it, we couldn't find that flavor ourselves. The music was a bit loud for mypreferences. All in a good kitschy dining experience. The loud music and small portion of lamb were my reason for taking offtwo stars. Read more
